𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗧 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮

April 13, 2026 — The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) Faculty and Staff Association (AFSA) received a welcome boost as Congressman Rommel Rico T. Angara extended financial assistance in support of its participation in the upcoming 2026 State Colleges and Universities Faculty Association of Region III Sports Fest.

The assistance was formally turned over during a simple ceremony held at the Bulwagang Sen. Edgardo J. Angara, attended by AFSA officers led by Dr. Jocelyn Diaz and Mr. Godfrey Gudoy, along with faculty and staff members.

The support from Cong. Angara strengthens the association’s preparations and reflects a shared commitment to uplifting faculty and staff through meaningful engagement beyond the workplace.

Also present were ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes and Vice President for Administration, Planning, and Finance Dr. Oscar C. Barawid, who both conveyed their support for initiatives that promote teamwork, wellness, and camaraderie within the ASCOT community.

Monday: No onsite work (All campuses closed)
