The Living Arts Culture Festival 2025 ended with an amazing tour at Penang Hill, a lush forested hill, offering panoramic views, colonial-era architecture, and rich biodiversity including rare orchids and tropical flora.

We also visited Penang Batik in Teluk Bahang, one of the pioneer handcrafted batik factories in Penang. They produce traditional hand-drawn and hand-block printed batik fabrics with motifs inspired by flora and fauna, and the factory itself is a popular stop for tourists wanting to see the process firsthand.

Thank you Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara and the National Department for Culture and the Arts Malaysia for sponsoring this cultural tour.
