Every journey has a beginning, and sometimes, it starts with a green chair. 💚🪑
For Engr. Paul Genar S.J. Lumabas, his journey at Baliuag University was more than earning a degree in Civil Engineering.
For four years, he was also part of the Admissions and Marketing Services Office (AMSO) as a Student Assistant—balancing academics, responsibilities, and work while building experiences that would eventually help shape his professional journey.
Today, he continues to grow through engineering, public service, and lifelong learning, taking on greater responsibilities while pursuing his Master’s degree.
In this episode of The Green Chair Season 3, Engr. Paul looks back on his BU years, the lessons he learned as a Student Assistant, the challenges he encountered along the way, and the values that continue to guide him today.
From Student Assistant to Engineer, and from learner to leader, his story is a reminder that success isn’t simply about where you end up, but also about the experiences, people, and values that shape you along the way.
