𝐍𝐕𝐒𝐔’𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐄𝐂𝐄 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬

The Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) has revealed the results of the October 2023 Electronics Engineering (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) Board Examination. The 3-day examination, administered in various testing centers throughout the Philippines from October 22-24, 2023, bore testament to Nueva Vizcaya State University's achievement in engineering education excellence.

With an overall passing rate of 44.44%, the Electronics Engineering (ECE) board examination outperformed the national passing rate of 33.36%. Joining the new roster of Electronics Engineers are Engr. Jairus Joshua Bansan Domingo, Engr. Alejandra Piñero Cajimat, Engr. Marieliza Gay Halipan Lacquias, and Engr. Ma. Elijah Hugo Pilotin.

Meanwhile, the attention is on Engr. Marieliza Gay Halipan Lacquias in the ECT board exam results, who achieved an astounding feat by finishing 4th with a phenomenal rating of 92%. Her achievement set a high standard for future electronics technicians, exhibiting professional expertise. Marilyn Aduan Apangdan, Maureen Willie Bonifacio, Engr. Alejandra Piñero Cajimat, Jasmin Kate Baladad Mones, and Redentor Sabado Alves also passed the ECT board exam. The ECT board exam result from NVSU showed an amazing passing rate of 87.71%, which exceeded the national passing rate of 73.25%.

The outstanding achievement of the ECE and ECT October 2023 board exam results demonstrates that NVSU engineering education continues to generate graduates who are not just academically competent but also well-prepared to make substantial contributions.

ɴᴠꜱᴜ’ꜱ ᴇʟᴇᴄᴛʀɪᴄᴀʟ ᴇɴɢɪɴᴇᴇʀɪɴɢ ᴛᴇᴀᴍ ꜱʜɪɴᴇꜱ ᴀᴛ 18ᴛʜ ɴᴏʀᴛʜᴇʀɴ ʟᴜᴢᴏɴ ʀᴇɢɪᴏɴᴀʟ ꜱᴛᴜᴅᴇɴᴛ ᴄᴏɴꜰᴇʀᴇɴᴄᴇ

The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Electrical Engineering team once again demonstrated their talents and abilities at the 18th Northern Luzon Regional Student Conference, which was held from October 26 – 28, 2023 at Saint Louis University in Baguio City. Among the ten competing schools, NVSU emerged as the Regional Quiz Show Champion and emerged First Place in the Regional Math Wizard competition. This double triumph secured the qualification of both teams to represent the region at the upcoming national convention.

The Quiz Show team led by Astor B. Embong Jr. as team captain, further included the impressive talents of Laurence A. Ortonio, Mae Joy U. Pilde, Darryl Kane P. Culambot and Bryan Paul T. Manzano. These young minds demonstrated not only an in-depth understanding of the electrical engineering subjects but also their quick thinking and teamwork skills securing the championship.

The Math Wizard team, under the leadership of Bryan Paul T. Manzano as team captain, showcased the combined intellect of the group, which included Andrei P. Esguerra, Ellymar F. Duque, Astor B. Embong Jr., and Mandrake Guille B. Galapon. Their impressive performance in the Regional Math Wizard exemplified their problem – solving skill and strategic thinking.

The teams are under the guidance of Engr. Alan P. Nebrida, Engr. Jemimah P. Natividad and Engr. Dhom Ryan S. Millares.

This remarkable accomplishment has not only filled NVSU with immense pride and garnered recognition but has also shone a bright light on the entire province. It underscores NVSU's unwavering commitment to achieving academic excellence and consistently nurturing top-notch talents within the field of electrical engineering.
