𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬, 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐭

Junior Philippine Society for Public Administration (JPSPA) took part in the Digital Storytelling Contest as part of the campaign against Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), spearheaded by the GAD Chairperson of CBM Department in collaboration with the CBM Student Council.

In line with this, their video entitled “𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲” received the 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱. The video highlights empowerment, safety, and awareness for all women, reminding everyone that “𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲.”

The organization’s powerful storytelling in dedication to advocating for women’s safety and empowerment truly shine. Winning the People’s Choice Award is a well-deserved recognition of hard work and passion. TAYO’Y TUMINDIG PARA SA MGA KABABAIHAN AT MGA BATA!

𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - 𝗔𝗦𝗨 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 actively joined the 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 in preparation for the upcoming AACCUP Institutional Accreditation of ASU-Banga Campus on December 10–12. With a shared sense of responsibility, JPSPA members worked together with different programs to ensure that the campus is clean, organized, and ready to welcome the accreditors.

By taking part in this initiative, JPSPA embodied the spirit of public service and teamwork that the organization upholds. Their efforts and helping hands highlight how student involvement can truly make a difference to help create a more inviting and well-prepared campus environment.

"𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳" cliché yet speaks a lot as we are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of BPA 1-1 and BPA 2-1 during the 𝐇𝐔𝐄𝐀𝐆: 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, culminating activity held at the ASU Multi-purpose Hall, December 4.

BPA 1-1 exemplifies spirit if excellence in 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 category, earning these well-deserved recognition:

"Integrity is not merely a concept; it’s a movement." - Charl Babali, USC President

To uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability, Junior Philippine Society for Public Administration (JPSPA) stepped into the Eak’ang: Integrity Walk and Leadership–Integrity Development Training the ASU Grounds and ASU Review Center, November 14.

The morning session equipped student-leaders and student-journalists with insights and activities that strengthened ethical leadership and the importance of integrity in public service. By the afternoon, the campus buzzed with bold cheers as JPSPA members joined the Integrity Walk.

The event not only showcased the organization’s unity and commitment to upholding integrity beyond the classroom, but highlighted their fight against corruption, ignorance, and injustice.

𝗝𝗣𝗦𝗣𝗔 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗢

As Tino or internationally known as Kalmaegi, a tropical depression intensified and turned into a severe tropical storm, have landfall in the 4th of November, year 2025, affecting areas of Luzon and Mindanao, and specially the Visayas region.

Property damages intensified due to severe flooding caused by the typhoon in the region, with many families evacuating to escape the danger of Tino. Fellow citizens are now facing hardships due to loss of home, livelihood, and loved ones.

As a way of helping the victims of Typhoon Tino, and to lessen their burden due to this tragedy that have struck their lives. We, the Junior Philippine Society for Public Administration (JPSPA) is reaching to the hearts of everyone to extend their support and help to our fellow Filipinos.

May your Prayers and Support touched their scarred hearts, Let us extend compassion in these trying times.

𝗝𝗣𝗦𝗣𝗔 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗬𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗡

As Typhoon Tino (international name: Kalmaegi) intensified from a tropical depression into a severe tropical storm, it made landfall on November 4, 2025, affecting several areas across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Shortly after, Typhoon Uwan brought additional torrential rains and winds, worsening the devastation in already affected communities.

Both typhoons have caused massive flooding, property damage, and displacement, leaving many families without homes, livelihoods, and even loved ones.

In response, the Junior Philippine Society for Public Administration (JPSPA) is launching a Donation Drive to help ease the burden of our fellow Filipinos impacted by Typhoons Tino and Uwan.

We are calling on everyone’s compassion and generosity to extend support, through monetary contributions, in-kind donations, or prayers, to help those in need. Every small act of kindness makes a difference.

Together, let us turn compassion into action. 💙
