CLOSING WITH PURPOSE, COMMITMENT, AND CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT | IQA CLOSE-OUT MEETING

Aklan State University successfully concluded the Close-Out Meeting of the Internal Quality Auditors following the conduct of the Internal Quality Audit (IQA).

The meeting provided an avenue to present and discuss the audit findings, clarify observations, recognize good practices, and identify opportunities for improvement. More than a closing activity, it marks another step in ASU’s continuing commitment to strengthening its quality management system and fostering a culture of excellence.

Kudos to our dedicated Internal Quality Auditors and all offices and personnel who contributed to the successful conduct of the IQA. Together, we continue to uphold Quality That Inspires Excellence.

Shaping a Resilient Future: Bridging Potential to Purpose

Aklan State University, through the Guidance and Counseling Office and Services, successfully conducted the Student Convocation and General Orientation for first-year students on September 1, 2026, at the ASU Amphitheater.

As part of the activity, Mary Loannie G. Tenazas, QA Officer, presented the Aklan State University Quality Policy, helping our newest members of the ASU community understand the University’s commitment to quality, excellence, continual improvement, and meaningful service.

Aklan State University–Ibajay Campus will conduct an AACCUP Online Preliminary Survey Visit for the Master in Tourism Management (MTM) Program, held on August 31–September 4, 2026 via Zoom.

This milestone reflects the collective commitment, dedication, and teamwork of the ASU community in pursuing quality, excellence, and continual improvement in academic programs. We extend our sincere appreciation to the AACCUP survey team, administrators, faculty, staff, and everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the survey visit.

Strengthening Quality, Ensuring Compliance
Aklan State University continues its commitment to quality and compliance through the Meeting on the Results of CHED Monitoring on the Implementation of CMO No. 9, s. 2013, held on August 24, 2026.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss monitoring results, clarify observations, and identify areas for continuous improvement in the implementation of academic policies and standards. Through collaboration and shared commitment, ASU moves forward in upholding quality education and responsive higher education services.
