𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗕𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗡 | The College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences proudly celebrates the achievements of its academic and non-academic awardees in 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗟 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀, to be held on 11 June 2026 at the University Cultural Center, ISUFST Main Campus–Tiwi Site, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.

This year, CFAS proudly recognizes 179 Academic Awardees (Dean’s Listers)—99 Bachelor of Science in Fisheries students and 80 Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology students from the first to third year levels, alongside 25 recipients of non-academic and special awards whose dedication, leadership, and service have brought pride and distinction to the College.

The College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) proudly celebrates its fourth consecutive win in the PASIDUNGOG Most Outstanding Student Leader award as Ms. Rayline Ann O. Torremillano earned the 2026 title during the awarding ceremony held on May 28, 2026, at the Hasa-Hasa Theater, ISUFST Main Campus–Tiwi Site, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.

A BS Fisheries IV student, Ms. Torremillano is recognized for her exemplary leadership and dedication to student service. She previously served as President of the University Student Council (AY 2024–2025) and SAMAHAN Suprema President (AY 2022–2023).

Her achievement continues CFAS’ strong legacy of producing outstanding student leaders committed to excellence and service.

Long Message from the CFAS SC 2025-2026,

As our journey comes to an end and a new chapter is about to begin, we take a moment to look back with grateful hearts on everything we have shared during the AY 2025 - 2026. This has been an unforgettable and meaningful journey filled with learning, service, growth, and countless memories we will always carry with us.

Serving the CFAS community has been a fun and rewarding experience. We engaged in various activities, programs, celebrations, and initiatives throughout the academic year. From events that built friendships to outreach activities that expanded our service, collaborations with organizations, and celebrations of our identity as fisheries students, each experience reminded us why we chose to serve. Every activity was more than just an event; it was a chance to connect, make an impact, and create memories together.

We will always remember the kalapyo, kakapoy, pero may kasadya. From the event preparation pakadto sa event na gid mismo, especially sa Fishella and IsdaPyesta. We can't help but reminisce to every meeting that we had about sa name of events, amo ni nga time daw ka creative sa amon (IsdaPyesta, Fishella (supposedly FROSHELLA but kay Fish kita), Searinipal (had a fun argument kay it's a Karay-a word and not all can understand this), LiteraSea (basta unique ni siya kay may Sea). If napansin niyo, most of our events have names related to Sea or Fish, kay we tried to keep it that way. Overall, we hope na this academic year was memorable, not only sa amon, but also sa inyo.

None of these achievements would have happened without the trust, support, and teamwork of the students, faculty members, partner organizations, and everyone who traveled this path with us. This accomplishment report reflects not only the council’s work but also the collective effort, dedication, and spirit of the entire CFAS community.

As we prepare to pass the responsibility to the next generation of leaders, we do so with pride and gratitude. We hope they will continue to make waves of service, empowerment, and excellence for the college and beyond.

Once again, this was your CFAS Student Council, serving, empowering, and sustaining. Waswas, CFAS! We love you!

As we move forward to new chapters in life, let us also help others begin theirs. 💙

The University Student Council proudly launches 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃, a voluntary donation initiative that encourages graduating students to donate their school uniforms for incoming students who may be financially struggling or having difficulty purchasing a new set of uniforms.

Through this simple act of generosity, we can help fellow ISUFSTians continue their education with confidence and dignity. A uniform may seem simple to some, but for others, it can already be a big financial burden. Your donated uniforms can become a meaningful support for students in need.

📅 The donation drive will officially begin on 𝐌𝐚𝐲 11, 2026, and will remain open with no specific deadline.

All donated uniforms will be forwarded to the University Student Council, and we will ensure that these will be passed on to deserving students of ISUFST.

We would also like to emphasize that this initiative is NOT mandatory and NOT a requirement for graduating students. This is purely a voluntary act of kindness and an encouragement to share blessings with fellow students who may benefit from your old uniforms.
