𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘴 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯

On July 1, 2026, the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, MMSU-CBEA, planted a new seed of hope in Barangay Sumader, City of Batac, Ilocos Norte — the official launch of Program AURORA, anchored by Project STARS and Project GINTO, in partnership with the City Government of Batac.

This milestone also marked the kick-off of 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘎𝘐𝘕𝘛𝘖'𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺: "𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺-𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴"— a step toward cultivating a community that sees its land not just as a source of livelihood, but as a living gateway to sustainable tourism.

This is more than a program. It is a promise — that the knowledge, research, and passion built within our halls will walk beyond them, into the communities that need it most.

We are grateful for the guidance of the MMSU Extension Directorate, through Dr. Marlowe Aquino, represented by Ma'am Abegel Joson, and for the steadfast support of Prof. Emil James P. Tanagon, Dean of CBEA — leaders who believe that tourism education must serve people, not just classrooms.

We invite the entire Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) community to join us on Monday, August 24, for a special flag-raising ceremony at the MMSU Twin Gate Road, marking the start of the 500-day countdown to our 50th Foundation Anniversary on January 6, 2028.

Let us come together as one MMSU community as we begin this historic journey toward our Golden Anniversary. The countdown will usher in a series of meaningful activities celebrating half a century of MMSU excellence, service, and heritage.

The interview process has officially concluded!

To all applicants who successfully passed the interview and received an email notification, please be informed that the collection of the following original documents will be on May 25, 2026, between 9:00-11:30AM at CBEA-Bar Laboratory.

Please bring the following original documents for verification:
• Three (3) copies of 2x2 ID photo (write your full name at the back of each)
• MCAT Result
• Form 138 (Sf 9)
• PSA Birth Certificate
• Certificate of Good Moral Character

Kindly ensure that all documents are complete. Failure to submit the required documents within the scheduled period may affect your admission process.

Please also be informed that the scheduled medical examination will be on May 28, June 1, and June 2, 2026.
