As one of The Obscura's dedicated photographers, you have done more than simply take photographs. You preserved moments, emotions, and stories that became a part of our collective journey. Through your lens, ordinary moments became lasting memories, and fleeting experiences found a place in time.

Beneath the glow of the moon and the melodies of ๐‹๐ฎ๐ง๐š ๐’๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐š๐ญ๐š, the juniors and graduating seniors of Westmead International School gathered last May 8, 2026, for a meaningful Turn Over Ceremony celebrating not only the transition of leadership, but also the passing of memories, experiences, and legacies from graduating seniors to the next generation of students.

On April 21, 2026, the event gathered active participation from CAS students and opened with inspiring remarks from Dr. Antonio Maligaya, Dean of Student Affairs.

The seminar featured insights from two distinguished guest speakers, Ms. Andrea Hernandez and Mr. Richard Limsiaco. Ms. Hernandez highlighted the importance of gender equality and public service, encouraging students to become advocates of inclusivity. Meanwhile, Mr. Limsiaco discussed governance in drug protection and awareness, emphasizing the role of communities in ensuring safety and accountability.

The program also included an engaging demonstration on safety, rights, and self-defense, equipping students with practical knowledge and awareness.

Overall, the event concluded on a high note, leaving participants empowered, informed, and inspired, with renewed hope for good governance and stronger communities.

The program started with the opening remarks from the Department Assistant Dean, Dr. Debbie L. Lualhati, followed by an inspirational message from the Dean of the School of Economics and Business Accountancy, Dr. Marites D. Manlongat. The ceremony proceeded with the giving of the first insignia to the second year to fourth year students of Customs Administration.

The event concluded with another inspirational message from the Dean of Student Affairs, Sir Antonio Maligaya and a closing remarks from the President of Philippine Society of Customs Administration Students WIS Chapter, Rachelle S. Refran, leaving everyone with wide smiles as the program ended successfully.

With research enthusiasts serving as judges, the Best Presenter award was earned by the College of Arts and Sciences, while the Best Research Paper was awarded to the representative from the School of Economics, Business, and Accountancy.
