ATTENTION!!!

All Basic Cadets of Military Science 1 (MS-1) will gather at the POB Room on 04 September 2026 at 0700H for the ROTC Preliminary Examination. The examination will assess the cadets’ understanding of the lessons and topics discussed during their ROTC training. All cadets are advised to review the files and lessons sent beforehand and to come prepared.

Attendance is a must. Cadets are expected to demonstrate focus, discipline, and commitment throughout the examination, embodying the ROTC values of Honor, Patriotism, and Duty. 🇵🇭

“Preparedness begins with knowledge, discipline, and the ability to respond when it matters most.”

On 28 August 2026, the LIMA/LPU-B ROTC Unit conducted the 4th Training Day of Basic Cadets MS-1 at the LIMA Campus, under the supervision of COL RONILO G. DESINGANO INF (GSC) PA, Commandant of the unit.

The training commenced with attendance and formation, where the Basic Cadets MS-1 assembled and were accounted for before proceeding with the scheduled activities. This was followed by a quiz covering the previous lesson, allowing the cadets to recall and demonstrate their understanding of the topics discussed during the preceding training session.

After the assessment, the cadets proceeded with a new lesson, providing them with additional knowledge and skills relevant to their ROTC training. The activity was then followed by an Earthquake Drill, where the cadets practiced proper emergency procedures and learned the importance of remaining alert, calm, and prepared during unexpected situations.

Guided by the ROTC Training Staff and Advance Officers, the cadets actively participated in each activity and demonstrated cooperation, discipline, and readiness. The 4th Training Day provided the cadets with both academic learning and practical experience, further preparing them for their responsibilities as future citizen-soldiers.

On 14 August 2026, the LIMA/LPU-B ROTC Unit conducted the 3rd Training Day of Basic Cadets MS-1 at the LIMA Campus, under the supervision of LTC JOVEN B. PUYONGAN (INF) PA, Commandant of the unit.

The training began with a Flag Ceremony, followed by a quiz covering the previous lesson to evaluate the cadets’ understanding of the topics discussed during the previous training day.

The cadets then proceeded to a new lesson on Proper Accounting and Reporting, where they were introduced to the importance of maintaining accountability and following proper procedures in reporting. The lesson aimed to develop the cadets’ sense of responsibility and discipline in carrying out their duties.

With the guidance of the ROTC Training Staff and Advance Officers, the Basic Cadets MS-1 continued to develop their knowledge, discipline, and confidence through hands-on instruction and continuous training. The 3rd Training Day marked another meaningful step in their journey toward becoming responsible and disciplined citizen-soldiers.

On 07 August 2026, the LIMA/LPU-B ROTC Unit successfully conducted the 2nd Training Day of Basic Cadets MS-1 at the LIMA Campus, under the supervision of LTC JOVEN B. PUYONGAN (INF) PA, Commandant of the unit.

The training commenced with a Flag Ceremony, followed by attendance formation and instruction. The Basic Cadets MS-1 then participated in classroom lessons focusing on Philippine Military History and West Philippine Sea Knowledge, providing them with a deeper understanding of the country's military heritage, national security, and territorial concerns.

The cadets also underwent practical instruction on the proper ex*****on of the military salute and proper formation, guided by the dedicated ROTC Training Staff and Advance Officers. Through their guidance and supervision, the cadets were able to improve their discipline, coordination, bearing, and understanding of basic military customs and procedures.

The 2nd Training Day served as another step in developing the cadets' knowledge, discipline, teamwork, and sense of responsibility as future citizen-soldiers.

On 31 July 2026, the LIMA/LPU-B ROTC Unit successfully conducted the First Training Day of Basic Cadets MS-1 at the Gymnasium and Field, LIMA Campus, under the supervision of LTC JOVEN B PUYONGAN (INF) PA, Commandant of the unit.

The training commenced at 0630H, where the Basic Cadets MS-1 assembled for attendance and formation. The activity officially opened with a welcome message from LTC JOVEN B PUYONGAN (INF) PA, who emphasized the importance of military discipline, leadership, responsibility, and commitment as the foundation of every ROTC cadet.

Following the opening program, the cadets received an introductory lecture on Military Discipline, were taught the proper ex*****on of the hand salute, and were familiarized with basic formation and military commands. These activities served as the cadets' first step in learning the fundamental principles, customs, and traditions of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps.

The activity concluded at 1100H, marking the successful beginning of the Basic Cadets MS-1 training cycle and reinforcing the unit's commitment to developing disciplined, responsible, and capable citizen-soldiers.

A proud and memorable milestone as the LIMA-LPU-B ROTC Unit successfully conducted the Joint Closing Ceremony of Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC) Class 2026.

This event marked the culmination of discipline, leadership, patriotism, and commitment demonstrated by our ROTC cadets and officer candidates throughout their training journey.

Our sincere appreciation to MSg Arcan O Latayan QMS PA (Res), Senior Tactical NCO, for the Presentation of Candidates for Graduation; LTC JOVEN B PUYONGAN (INF) PA, ROTC Commandant, for officially declaring the graduates and leading the incorporation into the Reserve Force; Sgt Ryan A Remodo (Arm) PA, Tactical NCO, for the Reading of Appointment Orders; CAPT Alexander A Gonzales PhD, Executive Dean for Academic Operations, for awarding graduates and delivering an inspiring keynote message; and LTC GERARDO M CREAG PA (RES), Battalion Commander, 401st RRIBn, for administering the Oath to our newly Army Reservists.

ATTENTION!!!

All Basic Cadets of Military Science 2 will gather at the POB Room on 15 May 2026 (0630H–1100H) for the ROTC Final Examination. The activity will emphasize academic readiness as cadets review all the files sent, reinforcing their knowledge in military science and core ROTC principles.

After the examination, cadets will prepare for Drills Practice for the upcoming Recognition Ceremony, demonstrating discipline, coordination, and readiness as part of their ROTC training.

Cadets are expected to exhibit focus, discipline, and commitment—embodying the ROTC values of Honor, Patriotism, and Duty. 🇵🇭

ATTENTION!!!

All Basic Cadets of Military Science 2 will gather at the Gymnasium, LIMA Campus on the 13th ROTC Training Day with a call time of 0700H. The training will focus on TC3 and First Aid, strengthening cadets’ preparedness, responsiveness, and lifesaving skills in emergency situations.

Through discipline, teamwork, and active participation, cadets continue to uphold the ROTC values of Honor, Leadership, and Service. 🇵🇭

On 24 April 2026, the LIMA/LPU-B ROTC Unit successfully conducted the 12th Training Day of Basic Cadets MS-2 at the Gymnasium and Field, LIMA Campus, under the supervision of LTC JOVEN B PUYONGAN (INF) PA, Commandant of the unit.

The training commenced at 0630H, where cadets assembled at the field for attendance and formation before proceeding with drill activities. Afterward, cadets re-formed at the Gymnasium for lecture sessions on Personal Hygiene and Marksmanship, followed by a quiz to assess their understanding of the discussed topics. The activity aimed to enhance the cadets’ discipline, practical skills, and knowledge in military science while reinforcing the core principles of ROTC.

Through continuous training and instruction, cadets strengthened their readiness, coordination, and understanding of essential military concepts and practices.

The activity concluded at 1100H, marking another productive training day in developing disciplined, knowledgeable, and capable citizen-soldiers.
