The College of Arts and Sciences warmly welcomes Dr. Jean Carrem Esparcia as the new Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, following the resignation of Dr. Arnel M. Yurfo from the position effective June 2, 2026.

We also express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Yurfo for his dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to the College during his term as Dean for 6 years and 9 months.

Pursuant to CHED Memorandum No. 853, series of 2026, and in support of the proposed enhancement of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) under Senate Bill No. 1894 and Republic Act No. 10931 or the “Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act,” the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is conducting a survey on the daily and monthly expenses incurred by college students.

Whether you reviewed weeks ago or crammed last night, show up with determination and finish strong.
