Charot lang — don’t worry, that was not a hostile welcome. You have survived the entrance exam, the interview, the long 𝘱𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘴, and the back-and-forth trip to the registrar’s office 😭. We know the next chapter can feel a little intimidating, a little exciting, and a whole lot of 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. There will be days when things feel unclear, when you’re unsure of where to go, what to do, or how everything will unfold. And honestly, that’s normal.

College can be confusing, overwhelming, and very much “𝘱𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘨 𝘯𝘢𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘨,” but please remember: you do not have to figure everything out all at once. You’re allowed to be lost sometimes, to learn slowly, and to take things one step at a time. What matters is that you keep going, keep showing up, and trust that you’re capable of more than you think.

‎So congrats, 𝗖𝗔𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘀! 🌱✨ You made it this far, and now it’s time to survive, thrive, and pretend you’re not panicking while figuring everything out. Freshman ka pa lang, but the main character energy is already loading. May your coffee be strong, your load be light, and your group chats be slightly less stressful than expected.

𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐔 𝐂𝐀𝐅 𝐊𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐒 𝐎𝐅𝐅 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐔𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐉𝐓 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

‎The College of Agriculture and Forestry held its Practicum and OJT Orientation on June 9, 2026, at the NORSU–BSC Gymnasium. The orientation took place in the morning from 9:00 to 12:00 noon and was attended by both first-year Practicum students and third-year OJT students.
‎
‎The program opened with a prayer led by Program Chair 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗥. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 and the Philippine National Anthem, followed by welcome remarks from the chair.
‎
‎Practicum advisers gave an overview of the program, explaining its objectives, expectations, and role in preparing students for their future careers.
‎𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼 of the Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Office discussed policies and expected conduct during Practicum and OJT, including documentation, evaluation procedures, and student responsibilities.
‎
‎Sir 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗼 reviewed health requirements and safety protocols. Presentations also covered health and safety guidelines, medical requirements, and emergency procedures. The speakers emphasized professionalism, discipline, punctuality, and appropriate workplace behavior.
‎
‎An open forum allowed students to ask questions and receive clarifications. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮 delivered the closing remarks before adjournment. The orientation concluded successfully; participants left informed and prepared to begin their practicum and OJT placements.

This afternoon, the College of Agriculture and Forestry Student Government (CAF-SG) conducted the official turnover of office documents, records, and responsibilities, marking a smooth transition of leadership for the incoming administration.

Outgoing 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐚, together with 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐉. 𝐎𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳 , formally turned over pertinent documents and office materials to the newly elected Governor, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐲. This activity symbolizes not only the transfer of responsibilities but also the continuation of the commitment to serve the CAF student body with integrity, accountability, and excellence.

As one chapter of leadership comes to a close, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing officers for their dedication and invaluable contributions to the college. Their service has helped strengthen student representation and governance within CAF.

To 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐲, and the incoming administration, may this turnover serve as the beginning of a productive and meaningful journey in leadership. May you continue to uphold the values of service, unity, and excellence as you lead the College of Agriculture and Forestry toward greater heights.

Leadership may change, but the commitment to serve CAF remains constant.
