This September 8, 2026, our fellow Marians gathered to celebrate the Nativity Mass of the Blessed Virgin Mary, dedicated in celebrating Mary, mother of Jesus Christ.

Which invites us to immerse ourselves in God's creation, be instruments of healing for all forms of life, in water, land, nature and the people. May this recent day guide us to follow in Mary's steps, become like living water—healer of creation. Have utility, faith, and availability to reach others. Give ourself generously to God and humanity as our Patroness did.

On its third year, SMU Teatro Publiko proudly represents Saint Mary’s University in this year’s fair, bringing Marian creativity, talent, and spirit to the provincial youth celebration.

The assembly brought attendees up to speed on essential matters concerning campus life, covering the Data Privacy Policy, Quality Assurance and Student Success, Extension Services, University Facilities, and Student Discipline. Updates from the Guidance and Testing Office and various Marian-related initiatives were also presented.

Beyond the scheduled presentations, Marians used the Open Forum to voice their own inquiries and concerns. Among the key topics discussed was the university’s dress code, specifically the new PE uniform for freshmen introduced as part of the preparations for SMU’s centennial celebration. Marians inquired about the distribution timeline for the new uniforms.

The forum also revisited concerns from the previous General Assembly, allowing Marians to request updates and clarifications on ongoing issues affecting the Marian community.

As the inaugural assembly of the academic year concluded, the discussions highlighted the event's vital role not just as an information hub, but as a dedicated platform where Marians can speak, ask, and be heard.
