Arts and Social Sciences Student Organization (ARTSSO) extends its warmest congratulations to the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) on the historic groundbreaking ceremony for its soon-to-be-constructed CASS Building, held today, May 13, 2026.
During the ceremony, Dr. Ernesto L. Largado, College Dean, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to various university officials for allowing the college to use their facilities as temporary shelters for student learning. Dr. Largado also mentioned that this day marks the fulfillment of a long-awaited dream.
The ceremony was also attended by Hon. Desiderio R. Apag III, CHED Commissioner and MarSU Board of Regents Chair; Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, University President; Atty. Crispin Francis M. Jandusay, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Leodegario M. Jalos, Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Marvin P. Plata, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services; Dr. Ma. Edelwina M. Blasรฉ, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training; and Assoc. Prof. Julie P. Rodelas, MarSU Boac Campus Director.
Faculty members, students, and officers from various student organizations of CASS also participated in the event, celebrating a historic milestone for the college that signifies progress and growth in their educational journey.
