On October 10, the 3rd Year BS Tourism Management students, together with their faculty Ms. Jovanne Lyn A. Macmac, participated in the ๐‘พ๐’๐’“๐’๐’… ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ช๐’“๐’–๐’Š๐’”๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘บ๐’†๐’Ž๐’Š๐’๐’‚๐’“, an enriching experience that introduced future tourism professionals to the exciting world of cruise travel and global tourism.

In celebration of GREEN-Centered Month 2026, Dr. Yangaโ€™s Colleges, Inc. (DYCI), through the Sustainability Office, in partnership with the DYCI Science Center for Innovation, Research and Engagement (SCIRE), the Office for Internationalization and Research (OIR), and the College of Arts and Sciences General Education Program, and in collaboration with Smart and TNT, brings together college students for the ๐’๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐…๐จ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฆ: ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐…๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐–๐ž ๐€๐ซ๐ž ๐Œ๐š๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  on October 19, 2026, at the Elida Convention Center.

Through insightful discussions on climate resilience, environmental sustainability, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Philippine biodiversity, and sustainability and circularity, the forum seeks to enrich studentsโ€™ understanding of the relationship between science, technology, and society while encouraging them to translate knowledge into meaningful action.

As part of this meaningful initiative, free meals are distributed to motorists, jeepney drivers, security guards, and members of the community in front of the DYCI Marciano Campus. Through this simple act of kindness, CHMT hopes to share not only food but also warmth, care, and appreciation for the people who serve and support our community every day.
