JILCF College of Law conducts Educational Visit to Sandiganbayan for CLEP I students

The JILCF College of Law conducted an Educational Visit for the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) I students today, June 11, 2026, at the Sandiganbayan.

The educational visit aimed to provide law students with valuable insights into the Philippine justice system and actual courtroom proceedings, allowing them to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical legal experiences.

During the visit, Honorable Justice Karl Miranda shared his time and expertise by imparting words of wisdom, encouragement, and inspiration to the aspiring legal professionals. His insights highlighted the importance of integrity, competence, and a genuine commitment to the pursuit of justice.

Additionally, College of Law Dean Anicia Concepcion-Marquez was present during the visit, demonstrating her support, guidance, and dedication to the academic and professional growth of the CLEP I students.

Through this experience, the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) I students deepened their understanding of how the law is applied in actual practice and strengthened their commitment to upholding justice and serving the public with excellence and compassion.

Moreover, this educational visit marks another milestone for the JILCF College of Law, reflecting the department's continuous efforts to provide transformative learning opportunities that prepare future legal professionals to become competent, ethical, and service-oriented members of the legal profession.

The 29th Commencement Exercise served more than just a celebration of perseverance, hard work, and the accomplishments of Batch 2026. It also served as recognition of their families’ and guardians’ sacrifices and dedication to supporting each student. Just like the lyrics in Eraserhead’s Alapaap resonate, it was a tribute to their family, who have been their constant in every hardship and silent prayers as they reach their graduation day.

Held on May 15, 2026, at the New Prayer Garden, the ceremony brought together graduates, faculty, and families to celebrate faith and love as graduating students reached a significant milestone. The 29th commencement Exercise featured special messages from guest speakers, the distribution of diplomas, recognition of awards, a tribute to parents, and a pledge of allegiance to JILCF.

In her inspirational message, CHED Regional Office III Director IV Dr. Maura Consolacion D. Cristobal urged the students to become agents of postive change as they begin a new chapter of their lives after graduation.

She highlighted the importance of character and values in upholding integrity, compassion and exellence in their future endeavors.

We are honored to have CHED Regional Office III Director IV, Dr. Maura Consolacion D. Cristobal, as the Guest Speaker during the 29th Commencement Exercises of the JILCF College Department last May 15, 2026, at JIL New Prayer Garden, Bunlo, Bocaue, Bulacan.
