The Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU) recognized members of its faculty and staff for their years of service, professional development, and commitment to their work as part of the Universityโs observance of the 126th Civil Service Anniversary on September 7, 2026.
The recognition followed the regular Monday morning flag ceremony at the ADSSU Sports and Socio-Cultural Center, where faculty and staff also signed a Commitment Wall in support of the values of integrity, dedication, and excellence in public service.
Among those recognized were recipients of the Loyalty Award for employees who have rendered at least 10 years of dedicated and exemplary service, as well as employees who completed graduate studies and those who maintained perfect attendance in flag ceremonies and at work.
The awards put a spotlight on the people behind the Universityโs day-to-day operationsโfaculty members who teach and mentor students, and staff who keep its services and programs moving.
For many employees, years of service also mean years of working with students, colleagues, and communities across Agusan del Sur. Their experience and continued professional growth remain part of the work of building a stronger public university.
The recognition forms part of ADSSUโs activities for the Civil Service Anniversary, which highlights the continuing role of government employees in delivering public service with integrity and accountability.
