𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: Caraga State University will be implementing a Work-From-Home arrangement for all its employees tomorrow, April 1, 2026, from 8:00 AM – 12:00 NN. Work will then be suspended from 12:00 NN onwards, following the announcement of Malacañang Palace and OP Memorandum No. 121, s. 2026.

The Holy Week holidays will likewise be observed until Sunday, April 5, 2026, pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006. Regular operations and classes will resume the following day, April 6.

𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: Caraga State University adjusts its operating hours to 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, due to Friday being declared as a holiday per Proclamation No. 1189, s. 2026. This is done to ensure that the prescribed 40-hour workweek is complied with.
The implementation of the Flexible Working Hours under the Compressed Workweek Schedule will commence next week, March 23. See more details about this operational shift here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Dg2Gqjprx/ .

𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: Beginning March 16, 2026, Caraga State University will implement FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS, with university services available from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, Mondays to Thursdays.
This adjustment follows the mandates provided in the Office of the President’s Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026 on Energy Conservation Protocols.
Golden Paddlers and stakeholders are encouraged to learn more about this operational shift as the university continues to provide efficient, responsive, and quality services.

Recognized for excellence in teaching, research, and leadership, Dr. Maris T. Lasco has demonstrated outstanding instructional competence in graduate mathematics education while strengthening the internationalization of the Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Education program through global academic collaborations and engagements. She also led the MUGNA Extension Project supporting Indigenous Peoples communities and teacher capacity-building in the Caraga Region, earning recognition as Outstanding Extension Personnel during the 2026 Caraga State University PRAISE Awards.

Diana, a doctoral researcher in Applied Mathematics from Vilnius University, joins the Department of Mathematics for a research traineeship from February-April 2026 under the prestigious Erasmus+Student Mobility Program.
