‎As 𝗖𝗛𝗮𝗦𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 enters its final days, we take a moment to recognize the people working behind every workshop, practice, and performance that brought this Talent Development Program to life.

𝗖𝗛𝗮𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗚 𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟳 | 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗖𝗛𝗮𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗚) 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 convened for its 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, in accordance with 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟮𝟲𝟮𝟳-𝟬𝟬𝟭, marking another step toward strengthening student representation and legislative work within the College.

Presided over by 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝘀. 𝗡𝗵𝘆𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗳𝗶𝗻, the session provided a space for the councilors to discuss various matters concerning the council, including their respective programs and areas of focus, as well as other matters relevant to their roles and responsibilities.

Through open discussion, coordination, and collective planning, the Legislative Council continues to build a stronger foundation for responsive and meaningful student representation.

From voices to action, the CHaSSLSG Legislative Council continues to move forward.

‎On September 21, 1972, then-President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. signed Proclamation No. 1081, placing the country under Martial Law. Fifty-four years ago, the Philippines entered one of the most consequential chapters in its history.
‎
‎In the years that followed, thousands of Filipinos experienced grave human rights violations. Many were arrested and detained, while others endured torture, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings. These experiences left deep and lasting scars on individuals, families, communities, and the nation as a whole.
‎
‎Although Martial Law was formally lifted in 1981, its legacy did not end with its lifting. The stories of those who lived through the period, the experiences of those who suffered, and the questions it raised about democracy, freedom, and human rights remain part of the country’s continuing historical memory.
‎
‎As students of the Humanities and Social Sciences, remembering history also means learning to examine it critically—to seek truth, understand different accounts, and recognize the human experiences behind the events recorded in our history books.
‎
‎We remember the lives affected.
‎We remember the freedoms restricted.
‎We remember the voices that persisted.
‎And we remember the lessons that history leaves with us.

𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗛𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗩.𝟮 | 𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗖𝗛𝗮𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗚) took part in the first day of 𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗛𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗩.𝟮, joining fellow Golden Paddlers in a day filled with learning and meaningful engagement.

From the conversations in 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗕𝗜: 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 to the learning fostered through 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗢𝗗: 𝗔 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗔 𝟵𝟮𝟲𝟮, Day 1 brought together spaces for understanding and action.

With 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗕. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗷𝗼 of the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 (CHR) 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 as Resource Speaker, the seminar-workshop brings students together to deepen their understanding of 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 (𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗖), exploring its different forms, its impact on women and children, and the protection and provisions provided under 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟵𝟮𝟲𝟮.

𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗛𝗔 𝗩.𝟮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗖𝗛𝗮𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗚 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆!

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗖𝗛𝗮𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗚) joined the Caraga State University community in 𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗛𝗔 𝗩.𝟮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The day began with the parade, bringing Golden Paddlers together as the activities officially commenced. With students coming together for learning, dialogue, and shared experiences, 𝗖𝗛𝗮𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗚 continues to be present alongside the community it serves.
