A heartfelt thank you to the Bureau of Internal Revenue Philippines (BIR) for inviting Sining Ghendawan Ensemble to perform during the BIR Tax Campaign held on March 3, 2026 at the Municipal Hall of Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful campaign and to share our culture and artistry in support of a program that promotes civic responsibility in the community.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to experience Padaga, a vital ceremony for connecting the community with spiritual, natural and human worlds.

On the PUSAKA stage for the third time and still dancing with the same passion and pride.✨

Sining Ghendawan Ensemble proudly marks its third participation in the PUSAKA Fashion Show, held on February 23, 2026 at Ipil Provincial Capitol Atrium, in celebration of the Culture and Arts Night for the 25th Araw ng Sibugay (Silver Anniversary of the Province).

It is an honor for SGE to once again share the artistry, culture, and stories through movements to celebrate not only fashion and heritage, but also the vibrant identity of Zamboanga Sibugay.

Here’s to culture, creativity, and continuing the journey of dancing for our Subanen people. 🀲🏻

Further, we express our sincerest gratitude to the Paramount Princess of Western Mindanao, Ma'am Sonita M. Mande-Ryde, who supported the SGE in every possible way. Thank you, too, for the free dinner you have given us. We truly appreciate your generosity.

The MSU Zamboanga Sibugay Sining Ghendawan Ensemble won the championship in the Inter-Collegiate Neo-Ethnic Dance Competition held at the Ipil Provincial Capitol Atrium on February 18, 2026, as part of the 25th Araw ng Sibugay celebration.

The ensemble’s victory was achieved with the continued support of Chancellor Dr. Sheila G. Magolama and the guidance of Creative Director Asst. Prof. Charmaine A. Manon-og, reflecting the group’s sustained commitment to cultural performance and excellence.

The Sining Ghendawan Ensemble of Mindanao State University-Zamboanga Sibugay (formerly MSU-Buug) truly set the stage ablaze as they were hailed CHAMPION in the Neo-Ethnic Dance Competition during the 25th Araw ng Zamboanga Sibugay celebration!

Their performance was a living story of the Subanen culture, gracefully woven through every step, beat, and formation. Through dance, they echoed the Subanen spirit: resilient, proud, and deeply connected to community and nature.

This triumph was made possible through the passionate guidance of their Coach and Choreographer, Asst. Prof. Charmaine A. Manon-og, whose vision transformed cultural heritage into an award-winning masterpiece on stage.

Your achievement is a proud celebration of Sibugaynon identity, artistic excellence, and youth empowerment through culture and the performing arts.

Congratulations to Sining Ghendawan Ensemble for being the Champion of the Inter-Collegiate Neo-Ethnic Dance Competition held at Ipil Provincial Capitol Atrium on February 18, 2026 as a part of the celebration of the 25th Araw ng Sibugay.

This victory reflects our hard work and deep love for culture, as shown by the every member of the ensemble. Truly a well-deserved win!
