LOOK: CSU CABADBARAN CAMPUS MEETS WITH GOV ON THE ONGOING INFRA PROJECTS, PROPOSALS FOR 2026
Caraga State University (CSU), led by University President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, met with Governor Angel Amante to present the ongoing infrastructure developments at CSU Cabadbaran Campus— the Academic and CTHM buildings—and the proposed four-storey, 32-classroom building set for funding consideration. This initiative highlights the strong support and commitment of the Provincial Government of Agusan del Norte and the Local Government of Cabadbaran City through the leadership of Hon. Mayor Judy C. Amante.
In a phone patch conversation during the meeting, Dr. Daguil also discussed with Hon. Congressman Dale B. Corvera the status and prospects of CSU Cabadbaran Campus’ proposed 2026 infrastructure projects.
Earlier, CSU formally presented the proposed classroom building to City Mayor Judy C. Amante, securing an initial ₱30 million funding commitment jointly pledged by the City Government of Cabadbaran and the Provincial Government of Agusan del Norte.
These efforts reaffirm CSU’s commitment to expanding educational spaces and fostering quality learning environments for its students. CSU Cabadbaran Campus breached 6,000 currently enrolled students in the First Semester AY 2025-2026.
The meeting, which lasted for about three (3) hours, was attended by PGO Atty. Rose Vestil, CSU VP for Executive Operations Dr. Michelle V. Japitana, First Lady Ms. Ferlyn Daguil, CSU Cabadbaran Campus Director Dr. Deomila B. Mamaoag, Division Chief for Executive Operations Assoc. Prof. Ronald A. Monzon, Division Chief for Administration and Finance, and Head of the Engineering and Construction Office Dr. Ritchfildjay L. Mariscal, Head of Planning and Desing Unit Engr. Geovera Cabutaje, Architect Daisy Ree Capio, and Office Staff Ms. Gemma Irma S. Alburo.
