Women union organizers on parade, 1912.

Carrying signs with slogans such as “Do you want fair treatment? ORGANIZE” these women are taking part in a women’s parade in Manhattan in 1912.

Although many of the demonstrators were marching for suffrage, union organizers were also concerned with working conditions, especially for the many immigrant workers toiling in sweatshops in New York City.

The original caption of this photograph read, “Making headway in a crusade for fair treatment as workers and as citizens, women showed their solidarity in a march down New York’s Fifth Avenue in May 1912. The 15,000 demonstrating for woman's suffrage ranged from society matrons to sweatshop seamstresses.”

🅘🅢🅤 🅲︎🅰︎🅱︎🅰︎🅶︎🅰︎🅽︎ students are losing their hope to continue their dreams in life whenever they see their modules filled with mud and broken/damaged phones, laptops, printer and other school supplies.

In lieu with this, the Presidents of the various organizations at ISUC launched "OPLAN SAGIP KAMAG-ARAL" to provide school paraphernalia for the students of ISUC who were greatly affected by typhoon Ulysses and massive flooding in Isabela.

History holds invaluable lessons for today's movement to
make significant changes in our community.

Historical Society is a campus-based organization at Isabela State University, Cabagan Campus that primarily aims to promote community activities and programs. It is founded by the Social Studies Majors to increase connectivity and empower every individual in the community by bringing genuine revolutionary programs

These are the newly-elected officers with their Advisers in Historical Society for the Academic School Year 2020-2021.
