The orientation was conducted in two sessions, with students from Mains 1-3 attending the morning session and those from Mains 4-6 participating in the afternoon session.

The activity aimed to equip students with the essential knowledge and expectations needed before entering their affiliated hospitals. Discussions covered the universityโ€™s partner healthcare institutions, proper grooming and uniform guidelines, academic policies, and other important information related to clinical duty requirements and professional conduct.

Through this orientation, students were provided with a strong foundation as they prepare to take their first steps into the clinical setting, embodying the professionalism, competence, and compassion expected of future nurses.

Isang daan at dalawampuโ€™t walong taon na ang nakalipas nang ideklara ang kasarinlan ng Pilipinas mula sa mga mananakop. Dahil sa mga naranasang kalupitan mula sa kamay ng mga dayuhan ay marami ang naghimagsik at nagbuwis ng buhay.

Ngayong Araw ng Kalayaan, maalala nawa natin na ang kalayaang ating natatamasa sa kasalukuyan ay hindi basta nakamit nang walang kapalit. Ito ay dahil sa pag-ibig na ipinamalas ng bawat isang nagbuwis ng buhay para mawaksi ang kalupitan at pagsakop ng mga dayuhan na siyang sumikil sa bawat isang Pilipino na tinanggalan ng karapatan na maging malaya sa kanilang sariling bayan.

Nawaโ€™y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang kabayanihan at sakripisyo upang patuloy nating mahalin, ipagtanggol, at paglingkuran ang Pilipinas. Sapagkat ang bawat buhay na inialay para sa kalayaan ay naging daan upang matamasa natin ngayon ang isang buhay na may dignidad, karapatan, at kalayaan.
