𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦: 𝗔 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 ✈️

Meet Mr. Karl Christian Froillan, a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management graduate, Batch 2026 of St. Vincent College of Cabuyao, as he shares his story:

“ As a fresh graduate of Tourism from St. Vincent College of Cabuyao, I’d like to share some of the lessons and experiences that shaped my journey. I still remember when I was in my first year, I'm asking myself if kaya ko ba talaga ang course na 'to because Tourism was not really my first choice. During our second semester, I even wanted to shift to my dream course. But when face-to-face classes started, I realized that maybe I should continue what I had already started.

There were many challenges during my first year, but through those experiences, I learned the importance of choosing the right friends who will support and motivate you. I also learned that mistakes help us grow and improve. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes or lose in competitions because these experiences helped me discover and develop my abilities. Joining activities, events, competitions with other schools, and internships helped me become more confident, responsible, and professional in dealing with people.

To our incoming first-year Tourism students, my advice is to enjoy your journey, stay motivated, and always be open to learning new things. Remember that Tourism is not just about traveling and wearing uniforms, it is about building confidence, creating connections, providing excellent service, and learning how to work with different kinds of people. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone because every experience will help you grow. Tourism may be challenging at times, but it is also rewarding and full of opportunities.

Work hard, believe in yourself, and enjoy every moment. Welcome to the Tourism family at St. Vincent College of Cabuyao, and good luck on your journey.

“As a Tourism Management graduate of St. Vincent College of Cabuyao, I learned that growth never stops. The program taught me the importance of continuously learning, improving my skills, and becoming the best version of myself. Through competing with different schools across the Philippines, I gained confidence in showcasing my strengths, connecting with people, and adapting to diverse environments and cultures.

All of these experiences prepared me to become stronger, more resilient, and more confident as I enter the aviation industry. Always invest in yourself not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally because true success comes from continuous self-development.

To all incoming first-year students, always stay true to yourself and never stop aiming higher.
