With the theme “GCEDizing Youth Glocal Actions for Sustainable Development,” the congress gathered youth leaders from across Negros Island Region for discussions, collaborative sessions, and the formal establishment of the region’s GCED Youth Network. Niel took part in this milestone event alongside representatives from various youth groups.

The congress was made possible through the efforts of the PNU Visayas GCED Cooperation Centre – Regional Hub, supported by university academic and service units. The Peer Facilitators’ Organization extends its congratulations to Niel and to all newly elected officers. 💚🌍✨

𝙅𝘾 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙚ñ𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙞𝙚𝙡 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙨, 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙉𝙐𝙑 𝙋𝙁𝙊, 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙖𝙚𝙠𝙝𝙖𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤𝙩𝙖, took part in 𝙆𝘼𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙏𝘼𝙉𝘼𝙉 2025 — a Leadership Skills Training and Team Building Activity with the theme “𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙆 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙔𝘿𝘾 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙯𝙣𝙤𝙣 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥.” The event was organized by the Local Youth Development Council of Cadiz City.

Held on 𝙉𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 15–16, 2025 𝙖𝙩 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙃𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙡, 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙥𝙡𝙖, the two-day training empowered young leaders through dynamic workshops, insightful sessions, and engaging activities that strengthened teamwork, purpose, and passion for youth development. Guided by its theme, participants immersed themselves in discussions, hands-on exercises, and team-building challenges aimed at enhancing collaboration, decision-making, and program implementation.

𝙆𝘼𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙏𝘼𝙉𝘼𝙉 2025 highlighted the importance of continuous growth and development in leadership. Through the training, youth leaders strengthened their skills, confidence, and collaborative mindset, equipping them to serve with dedication and contribute meaningfully to their communities as competent and responsible Cadiznon leaders.

This October, let’s take a pause, breathe, and remind ourselves that 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝑫𝒂𝒚.
It’s okay to slow down, to rest, to ask for help, and to admit when you’re not okay. 💭

A simple “Kamusta ka?” can mean the world to someone who’s struggling silently.
You don’t need to be an expert to help — just showing up, listening, or checking in can make a big difference. 💌

Let’s 𝑩𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒂 and create a safe space where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.
