Mother’s Day means much more than being on our calendar. It reminds us of the women who have provided us with strength, comfort, guidance, and love throughout our lives. We can express gratitude to our mothers for all of their silent sacrifices made for us and their continuous support; however, no amount of words will completely describe the type of love our mothers provide.

We take a moment today to appreciate and recognize all mothers, grandmothers, single moms, guardians, and mother figures who have inspired, protected, and loved us unconditionally. Mothers’ caring creates families, mothers’ strength builds homes, and mothers’ love provides direction in life.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms, loving fur moms, and dads who step into the role of both mother and father with endless strength and care. 💐🧡

𝗠𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼! 🇵🇭

In today’s economy where prices hike and everything seems to stretch beyond limited means, laborers persist with courage and dignity to mobilize the land we step in. We celebrate not their resilience, but the systems that forced them to endure.

This Labor Day, may we honor not just hard work, but fair work. Not just perseverance, but dignity. Not just survival, but the right to thrive.

Last April 26, we celebrated the graduation of our EMTG Officers—individuals who have shown commitment, responsibility, and genuine service throughout their journey.

Their time in the organization may have come to a close, but the impact they’ve made will continue to be felt by their batch mates and the community they’ve served. As they step into a new chapter, we wish them steady growth, clarity in purpose, and success in the paths they choose. 🧡💛

Today, April 27, 2026, The English Major Teachers' Guild officers immersed in a call for donations, an initiative drive by the College of Education - Student Body Organization, for the affected residents of the recent fire incident at Barangay Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City, last April 20, 2026. The officers bought, prepared, and packed the essential goods such as food, clothing, hygiene kits, and other basic necessities for the displaced families.

This call is a testament of the organization's dedication to serve and provide for those in-need, extending purpose beyond the school campus.

Emerging brilliance and permeating competence, the English Major Teachers' Guild congratulates the awardees of CU's 55th Recognition Day, which happened on April 24, 2026, at CU's gymnasium.

This line of total persons in the making took center stage, carving another milestone of excellence and embodying the very ideals of dedication, discipline, and purpose. May this recognition serve not as a culmination, but as a stepping stone toward greater horizons—where passion meets service, and knowledge transforms into meaningful impact.

Congratulations, awardees!

𝗔 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽.

On April 20, 2026, families in Barangay Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City lost their homes due to a fire incident. In this difficult time, we humbly ask for your support. Many are now facing the challenge of rebuilding their lives from nothing, with limited access to basic needs such as food, clothing, and hygiene essentials.

Any form of help—whether in cash or in-kind donations—can make a meaningful difference. Let us come together as a community and extend compassion to those who need it most.

𝗡𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗶𝗶𝘀, 𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗮𝗻, 𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻.

When history tested the strength of the Philippine nation, our Filipino heroes stood unyielding. From the long and grueling march in Bataan to the countless sacrifices made in silence, their courage wrote a story that every Filipino heart will never forget.

Each step they took carried the weight of the freedom we now enjoy—a reminder that true valor is standing firm despite fear and hardship.

This April 9, let us remember their heroism and continue the fight they began—a fight for freedom, honor, and unity.

𝗛𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗻.

After days of torment and peaceful burial, the Easter Vigil echoes, and Jesus Christ has risen, bringing joy and hope to those who believed, trusted, and waited. Easter Sunday calls for rejoicing after waiting and gathers grateful hearts as we celebrate His resurrection.

As stated in the scripture of 1 Corinthians 15:20, “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep,” may the truth of His resurrection fill our hearts with hope, strengthen our faith, and remind us that in Him, death has been overcome and new life is ours.

Happy Easter Sunday!
