Salt on display, stories in focus, and a community seen through the lens.

Held from May 11–13 at Ayala Malls Centrio in celebration of the 86th Araw ng Alubijid, Lansad Asinso D’Sea Otso: Lamas sa Alat, Lansad sa Pag-angat brought forward the lived realities, livelihoods, and resilience of the salt farmers of Brgy. Baybay, Alubijid.

More than an exhibition, it became a space that amplified the municipality’s culture, identity, and proudly local products—framing everyday labor into narratives that deserve to be seen and remembered.

For 18 years, Lansad has proven that photographs are never just frozen moments; they are voices, witnesses, and mirrors of communities often left at the margins. It’s not just about salt rising, but about lives rising with it—resilience taking shape, stories gaining ground, and a community steadily finding its voice.

Mu-ASINso, Ni-ASINso, and will continue to rise through every grain of salt and every story it holds.

OFFICIAL RELEASE: DevComSoc Revised Constitution and Bylaws

The Development Communication Society (DevComSoc) officially releases its 2026 Revised Constitution and Bylaws.

This document was developed by the Constitutional Committee (ConstiCom) and was later reviewed. It was then presented to the student body, where it received a 100% affirmative vote from the general membership present, and was subsequently completed with the required signatures of the designated signatories.

Originally established in 2009, this updated charter reflects the organization’s commitment to strengthening its structure, governance, and service to its members, aligned with the evolving needs of DevCom and its community.

The 2026 Revised Constitution and Bylaws will take effect in the upcoming academic year.

We honor the lives of those who trade personal comfort for sacrifice, those who work selflessly to sustain their families and never grow weary of achieving one goal at a time—every single day.

To our nurses working abroad at the expense of their own peace;
to our teachers who travel far beyond their sanctuaries to educate and inspire;
to our jeepney and tricycle drivers who continue to persevere despite the looming threat of displacement;
