♻️ 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿

The Cagayan de Oro City Jail – Male Dormitory successfully conducted a Solid Waste Management and Energy Efficiency Seminar for Personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty, aimed at promoting environmental awareness, proper waste management, and responsible energy consumption.

Under the leadership of City Jail Warden 𝗝𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗢𝗡 𝗝 𝗬𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, the activity highlights the institution's commitment to fostering environmental stewardship and sustainable practices within the jail community.

The seminar was facilitated by resource speakers from the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO): Chief Research and Planning Rayna L. Lagman, Yla Eunice N. Gutierrez, and Engr. III Primo B. Revilla III, who shared valuable insights on waste segregation, resource conservation, and energy-efficient practices.

The activity reinforced the importance of collective responsibility in protecting the environment and building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎| 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝟯𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗝𝗠𝗣 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆

In celebration of the 35th BJMP Anniversary, CDOCJ-MD actively participated in the nationwide Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity on June 23, 2026, at the Mangrove Rehabilitation Project Area, Barangay Molugan, El Salvador City.

The CDOCJ-MD was led by 𝗝𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗢 𝗙 𝗢𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗤𝗨𝗘, Assistant Warden, under the supervision of 𝗝𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗢𝗡 𝗝 𝗬𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Jail Warden. The activity was also graced by personnel from BJMP Regional Office X under the supervision of 𝗝𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗫𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗦 𝗝𝗔𝗚𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗡 𝗝𝗥, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau , led by 𝗝𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗚𝗜𝗟 𝗩 𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗔 𝗝𝗥, Office of the ARDA, and 𝗝𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗠 𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗬𝗔𝗢, Office of the ARDO, together with El Salvador City Jail led by 𝗝𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗗𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗫 𝗣 𝗕𝗢𝗔𝗗𝗢, Jail Warden.

Prior to the activity, a short orientation on mangrove planting was conducted by the caretaker, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇 𝗦𝗿.,to guide participants on the proper planting of mangrove propagules.

Participants planted mangrove propagules as part of the Bureau’s environmental stewardship efforts to strengthen coastal protection, promote biodiversity, and support climate change mitigation.
The activity reflects the Bureau’s continued commitment to environmental protection, community engagement, and social responsibility.

🚦 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆: 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿

The Cagayan de Oro City Jail – Male Dormitory successfully conducted a Road Safety Seminar focusing on the importance of understanding road signs and markings, aimed at strengthening awareness on traffic discipline, safety regulations, and responsible road use among personnel.

Under the leadership of Jail Warden 𝗝𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗢𝗡 𝗝 𝗬𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, the activity reinforces the institution’s commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and public safety advocacy.

The seminar was graced by resource speakers from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Regional Office X, namely Mr. Alrey Quidet Ebajay, RCrim, MSCJ, and Martin Jan U Ramos Lecturer, Drivers Education Center, who shared their expertise on traffic laws, proper interpretation of road signs and markings, and best practices for ensuring road safety and discipline.

The Cagayan de Oro City Jail – Male Dormitory extends its sincere appreciation to LTO ROX for their valuable insights and unwavering support in promoting road safety awareness and responsible driving culture.

This activity highlights a shared commitment to safety, discipline, and continuous learning among personnel.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

Under the leadership of City Jail Warden 𝗝𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗢𝗡 𝗝 𝗬𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔, 𝗗𝗦𝗖,a, DSC, two personnel from the Cagayan de Oro City Jail Male Dormitory represented BJMP Regional Office X in the Training of Facilitators on the Strong Families Program sponsored by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), held at Quest Plus Conference Center, Clark, Pampanga.

The participants, SJO1 Lowela C Allado, KKDK Coach, and JO1 Victoriano S Illustrisimo Jr., KKDK Facilitator, joined 32 BJMP personnel from NHQ, NCR, Region III, CALABARZON, Region IX, and CARAGA in strengthening their knowledge and facilitation skills for the implementation of the UNODC Strong Families Program in jails and prisons across the Philippines.

This training reinforces BJMP's commitment to family-centered interventions that promote rehabilitation, strengthen family relationships, and support the successful reintegration of Persons Deprived of Liberty into society.
