Status Down: Ideas Up! : the spirit that set the tone for the Presidential Meeting held on September 17, 2026 (Thursday), bringing together the Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Secretaries of the University’s councils and organizations.

More than a roll call of names and positions, the gathering became a space for student leaders to introduce, listen, connect, and align as they stepped into another chapter of student leadership.

With every introduction came a new face behind a familiar title; with every discussion, a new perspective to carry forward. As leaders gathered under one roof, the meeting highlighted that meaningful leadership begins not with status, but with the willingness to listen, contribute, and turn ideas into action.

September 10, 1920 marks the birth anniversary of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝘇𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗼, the Founding Patriarch of the University of Perpetual Help System.

Today, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬, we commemorate not only his natal day, but the enduring vision that continues to define the institution he helped build.

From one generation of Perpetualites to another, his ideals remain woven into the university experience — in the way we learn, serve, lead, and grow.
