Isang produktibong taon ang lumipas at taas noo naming ipinepresenta ang Accomplishment Report ng CFADSC. Ang bawat proyekto, programa, at inisyatibong inilunsad ay mapakay at may layon sa karunungan, libangan, at mahahalagang usapan. Ang lahat ng ito ay inukit ng may pagmamahal at sentro sa mandirigmang artista ng bayan.

Ang ulat na ito ay bunga ng isang taong puno ng dedikasyon, tiwala, at integridad. Hindi naging madali ang pagtuloy ng likha, may mga pagsubok na siyang nagpatatag sa diwa at loob ng konseho para sa patuloy na serbisyo.

Sa lubos na pagtitiwala, pagtindig, at masiglang paglahok sa bawat proyekto at inisyatibo ng konseho. Ang lahat ng ito ay taos pusong pinasasalamat mula sa mga Artista ng Bayan na binubuo ng Viscom, Painting, Architecture, Multimedia Arts, at Interior Design Students.

Ang sining na ating pinanday sa nakalipas na taon ay hindi lamang nanatili sa mga studio room o computer laboratory, ito ay naging boses ng ating kolehiyo at naging tulay upang itampok ang mga kwento ng lipunan. Ang bawat pagod, puyat, at malikhaing kaisipan na ibinuhos ng bawat departamento ay patunay na ang sining ay isang makapangyarihang sandata sa paghubog ng kamalayan.

Sa pagpapatuloy ng ating sining, baon natin ang alab ng pusong hindi kailanman susuko sa paglikha. Hanggang sa susunod na kabanataโ€”Lalakbay, Lalaban, Tuloy ang Likha!

๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธBRIDGING ACADEMIC RESEARCH AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธ

The University of the East โ€“ College of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design continues to share impactful, community-centered architectural research to help guide local urban development!
Earlier today, our graduating architecture students formally presented their thesis findings to the City Government of Caloocan - Office on Architectural Planning & Design, headed by Ar. Richard Nicko L. Marcelo.
The study, entitled "CULTURES IN CONFINEMENT: Socio-Cultural Implications of Limited Public Green Spaces in Caloocan Cityโ€™s High-Density Communities" by student researchers Jacob R. Miranda, Xyra Bernadett B. Serrano, and Virginia P. Quanico, addresses the critical shortage of parks and open spaces in the city. Their research highlights how high urban density forces traditional community activities indoors. To solve this, the students presented actionable urban design proposals, including pocket parks, multi-use open spaces, and the adaptive reuse of underused zones like the old PNR railway corridor.
This research summary was shared as part of our institution's commitment to community development, and for the informational reference and consideration of the Caloocan LGU in their future city planning initiatives.
