6. FOREIGN STUDENTS
Five copies of Student's Personal History Statement (PHS) duly signed by him, written both in English and in his national alphabet accompanied by his personal seal, if any, and containing among others, his left and right thumbprints and a 2" x 2" photograph on plain white background taken not more than six months prior to submission. A notarized affidavit of support including bank statements or notarized notice of grant for institutional scholars to cover expenses for the students accommodation and subsistence, as well as school dues and other incidental expenses. The following are the scholarship grants of WCC:
1. Entrance Scholarship
Entrance Scholarship is open to an incoming first year student who graduated Valedictorian or Salutatorian from a batch of at least 150 graduates. The WCC High School Valedictorian and Salutatorian automatically qualify for this scholarship. Upon application to WCC, you submit a certification from your high school principal that you graduated Valedictorian or Salutatorian from a batch of at least 150 graduates. If you graduated Valedictorian, you will receive a 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees, while if you graduated Salutatorian, you will receive a 50% discount. Note: The entrance scholar will enjoy the same privileges if the grade requirement is maintained in the succeeding semesters. All entrance scholars are required to finish their course at WCC; otherwise, the school will charge the full amount of tuition and miscellaneous fees.
2. WCC Academic Scholarship
The following are the qualifications needed to avail of the WCC Academic Scholarship:
WCC Academic Scholarship A (100% discount on tuition)- for a student who obtains a General Weighted Average of 1.0-1.25 enrolled with a regular load with no grade lower than 1.5 in any academic subject. WCC Academic Scholarship B (50 % discount on tuition) - for a student who obtains a General Weighted Average of 1.26 to 1.50 enrolled with a regular load with no grade lower than 1.75 in any academic subject. WCC Dean's List Scholarship (10% discount on tuition) for a student who obtains a General Weighted Average of 1.75 enrolled with a regular load with no grade lower than 2.0 in any academic subject.
3. WCC Athletic Scholarship
To avail of the WCC Athletic Scholarship, the Student must be a member of the WCC Varsity team. Scholar athletes must pass all subjects to maintain their scholarship. Please see the Office of the Athletic Director for details on how to avail of this scholarship. World Citi Colleges are
