๐๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ 10, 2026 marking the start of their hands-on exposure to dairy farm operations and livestock management.
The internship orientation was led by the farmโs co-owners, who shared their expertise and practical knowledge with the interns. Sir ๐๐ข๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฅ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐จ ๐๐, co-owner of Miguel Dairy Farm, conducted a detailed demonstration of the ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐ (๐ช๐ด๐ป) procedure, emphasizing its importance in detecting mastitis in dairy cattle and ensuring milk quality and animal health.
Meanwhile, Ma'am ๐๐ข๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐จ, also a co-owner, formally welcomed the interns and introduced the essential doโs and donโts of the farm. She highlighted proper farm conduct, safety protocols, and ethical practices that interns must observe throughout their training period.
The internship program is conducted under the supervision and guidance of Sir ๐๐๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ค ๐. ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ณ, Department Chair and OJT Adviser, who continues to support students in gaining meaningful industry experience aligned with their academic training.
The internship at Miguel Dairy Farm aims to equip students with practical skills, professional discipline, and real-world knowledge, preparing them for future careers in agriculture and animal science.
