Twenty-five beneficiaries of the 2024 Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), enrolled in the Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II course, joyfully received their Starter Tool Kits on November 4, 2025, at Velman Institute of Technology, Inc. (VIT) in Brgy. Marawi, Camiling, Tarlac.

The distribution was spearheaded by Ms. Marjorie Anne Gutierrez, TESD Specialist II from TESDA Tarlac, in collaboration with Ms. Carmelita M. Veloria, School President and Ms. Cristine Moulic from the office of the Congressman of Tarlac District 1.

The provision of these tool kits aims to empower graduates by enabling them to apply their acquired competencies, start their own livelihood activities, and enhance their employability.

Velman Institute of Technology, Inc. extends its heartfelt appreciation to Honorable Congressman Jaime Cojuangco for his continued partnership and support in the implementation of TESDA programs.

Look! On October 30, 2025, TESDA Tarlac successfully conducted a Training Induction Program (TIP) for 46 TWSP scholars enrolled in Electronics Products Assembly and Servicing NC II. The session was facilitated by Ms. Marjorie Anne Gutierrez, TESD Specialist II.
👏 This initiative marks another milestone in empowering future technicians with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the electronics industry.

This certification covers systems with a voltage not exceeding 600 volts, typically used in residential houses and buildings. It lays the foundation for a rewarding career in the electrical trade—proving that even the most complex systems start with mastering the basics.

The TESDA Provincial Office recently conducted an ocular inspection for the following training programs: Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II, Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing (EPAS) NC II, and Motorcycle and Small Engine Servicing (MSES) NC II.
The activity was spearheaded by Ms. April Liza P. Chua, Senior TESD Specialist, together with Ma’am Princess B. Ocampo. The inspection aims to ensure that program offerings comply with TESDA’s quality standards and training regulations.
