It is said that effective communication starts with sharing a meal with those you are always with, whether at home or in the workplace. It is always the shared meals that make a place feel like home.

In line with this, Pampanga State University - Candaba Campus conducted a Wellness Lunch Break joined by different departments, faculty, staff, and administrative personnel, fostering connection, camaraderie, and professionalism. This initiative is also aligned with the Gender and Development advocacy in promoting an inclusive, respectful, and supportive workplace where everyone's well-being is valued regardless of gender.

๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž | Pampanga State University - Candaba Campus successfully conducted its Mental Health Awareness Day last October 9, 2026.

The activity commenced with the opening program led by LUALU, the official student publication of Pampanga State University - Candaba Campus, attended by all academic departments and administrative offices. This was followed by an awareness parade, where students showcased their banners to promote mental health awareness not only within the university but also in the community.

After the parade, the students proceeded to the gymnasium for the main program. The event formally opened with a heartfelt message from our Campus Director, Rowina M. Twaรฑo, DBA, RECE. This was followed by the presentation of banners per section, highlighting creativity and advocacy for mental well-being.

To formally conclude the event, a closing message was delivered by the OSAD Coordinator and Adviser of LUALU, Rochelle C. Manio, SO2, LPT.

The Mental Health Awareness Day was conducted to emphasize that every individual matters. Pampanga State University - Candaba Campus upholds the welfare of everyone and reminds us that we should not be afraid to seek help. We should always remember that we are loved, cared for, and cherished.
