The Innovation and Technology Support Office successfully conducted the Claim Drafting Seminar-Workshop held at the BISU Candijay Learning Resource Center on April 30 and May 4, 2026.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our resource speaker, Dr. Ronalyn V. Amper, for sharing her expertise and guiding the participants throughout the seminar-workshop.
During the first day of the activity (April 30), participants gained valuable knowledge through two informative sessions:
📌 Morning Session – Introduction to Basic Claim Drafting
📌 Afternoon Session – Rules in Drafting Claims
The second day of the workshop (May 4) focused on the participants’ hands-on preparation and refinement of their patent documents. This activity serves as a continuation of the Patent Search Report Seminar-Workshop conducted by our office last September 2025.
Through this continuation program, participants were able to develop application-ready patent documents together with the required forms from BISU and IPOPHL. Once completed, these outputs will be ready for Intellectual Property (IP) protection application, which will be assisted and facilitated by the Innovation and Technology Support Office.
The office also expresses its appreciation to the three BSOA 3rd Year students, who are currently enrolled in the Research subject, for their valuable assistance and services rendered during the activity. Their support in serving as the emcee, photo documenter, and document assistant for attendance and other documentation greatly contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the seminar-workshop.
The office remains committed to supporting innovation, research commercialization, and intellectual property protection among researchers, faculty, staff, and students.
