CHED COMMISSIONER DESIDERIO R. APAG III VISITS PARTIDO STATE UNIVERSITY - COLLEGE OF SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES AND ECOSYSTEMS (CARAMOAN CAMPUS)
The Partido State University (ParSU), through its College of Sustainable Communities and Ecosystems (Caramoan Campus), had the honor of hosting Commissioner Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) during his official visit yesterday, June 12, 2026.
Commissioner Apag, accompanied by University President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo and Dr. Michael A. Clores, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Concurrent Dean of Caramoan Campus, along with Board Secretary V Leih Anne R. Odoรฑo, Board Secretary I Judith Agravante, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the campus dormitory, laboratories, library, support-to-operation offices, and other facilities, underscoring CHEDโs commitment to ensuring that higher education institutions are equipped to deliver quality instruction and services.
As part of his visit, Commissioner Apag also checked the laboratory and field equipment, gears, and tools procured under CHED-funded projects, specifically the Institutional Development and Innovation Grants (CHEDโIDIG) and the Leading the Advancement of Knowledge in Agriculture and Sciences (CHEDโLAKAS) program. These initiatives are designed to strengthen academic infrastructure, enhance research capabilities, and support the advancement of science and agriculture education.
His presence at the Caramoan Campus reflects CHEDโs continuing dedication to empowering universities and colleges in their mission to foster academic excellence, research innovation, and sustainable community development.
