𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐎 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄. ✋🚫

Many students continue to face bullying, and data shows that the Philippines remains among the countries with high reported cases. This issue goes beyond school experiences—it affects a person’s mental, emotional, and even social well-being.

Bullying is often dismissed as a joke or something people can easily move on from. However, every word and action carries weight. What may seem harmless to one can leave lasting effects on another, slowly damaging their confidence and overall sense of self.

More importantly, bullying is not only a social concern—it is also a legal matter. Under Republic Act No. 10627, or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013, all schools are mandated to address and prevent bullying in all forms, including physical, verbal, and online. This means that such actions are taken seriously and may lead to corresponding consequences.

As members of one community, we all share the responsibility to promote respect and empathy. Choosing our words carefully, supporting one another, and speaking up against wrongdoing can create a safer environment for everyone.

Let us continue to build a space where every individual feels protected, respected, and valued. Stop bullying. Start choosing kindness.

In preparation for the upcoming visit of accrediting agencies, the 𝗛𝗥𝗠 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 and 𝗛𝗥𝗠 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 actively participated in the 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 following the memorandum released by the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁. The activity was conducted from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, where participants helped clean and organize their assigned areas within the department.

By working together, the 𝗛𝗥𝗠 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 demonstrated support, cooperation, and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for the university community and its visitors.

𝐇𝐑𝐌 𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍 𝐁𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

During the CBA Days celebration‚ the HRM Department participated in the Bulletin Board Competition‚ proudly showcasing creativity and teamwork. The department secured 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in the competition.

With the theme “𝗛𝗥𝗠 𝗡𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹’𝘀‚”the bulletin board highlighted 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩‚ 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘴‚ 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 in 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. The design used recycled book pages to represent 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨‚ while the tree at the center symbolized 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴. Its branches and flowers showed how people develop through 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦‚ 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨‚ 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 in a healthy environment.

The 𝗛𝗥𝗠 letters emphasized the department‚ while the announcement area and 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘅 encouraged students to stay informed and share their ideas.

This bulletin board was creatively prepared by 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘁, 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘇 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹, 𝗥𝗼𝘅𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗼, 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮, 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗖𝗝 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗼, 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼, and 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗼‚ whose teamwork and creativity brought the concept to life.

On 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 welcomed its distinguished guests from 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐄𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘢𝘤𝘌𝘸𝘢𝘯 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭.

The day began with an 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 at the 𝐔𝐄𝐏 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫, formally receiving the guests and marking the start of their visit. The program continued at the 𝐔𝐄𝐏 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, where faculty members and students gathered to warmly welcome the visitors and showcase the university’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and strengthening global partnerships. The event also featured a plenary discussion, giving JPMAP officers the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the distinguished guests.

The day concluded with the “𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬: 𝐀 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” event held at the 𝐔𝐄𝐏 𝐆𝐲𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦, where the University of Eastern Philippines proudly showcased the richness of Filipino culture through music, dance, and theatrical performances. Dr. Lisa Rochman and Dr. Erin Wight of MacEwan University joined in the festivities, creating a joyful and interactive celebration that reflected UEP’s cultural pride and strengthened the bond between the two universities.

What once were lectures, case studies, and classroom exercises have now become real opportunities to navigate the dynamic world of Human Resource Management. The 𝟰𝘁𝗵-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 are stepping into the professional world through their ongoing internship, where every day brings new lessons and challenges. They are learning what it truly means to manage and support people, listening to concerns, motivating teams, and helping others grow, experiences that lie at the heart of HRM. Each moment, whether big or small, is shaping their skills, confidence, and perspective, turning theory into practice. They already know the name, but now they know the score! The Descendants of Jafar took home the silver with a 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 overall ranking for CBA Days 2026, racking up a massive 𝟕𝟑𝟓 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬. The 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬 and 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 definitely lived up to the hype, proving once and for all that we really are invincible.
