| SSU-CoEng’g logs 13 newly licensed electrical engineers

College of Engineering (CoEng’g) welcomes 13 newly licensed electrical engineers following the release of the April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination (REELE) results last Tuesday, April 28.

Out of 23 total examinees, 12 first-time takers passed the exam, along with one repeater, bringing the institutional passing rate to 56.52%.

Meanwhile, one first-time taker received a conditional rating, which, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), means the examinee did not fully pass the board examination but met specific requirements allowing them to retake only certain subject(s).

Nationwide, a total of 3,769 out of 6,556 takers successfully passed the examination, resulting in a national passing rate of 57.49%, according to the PRC.

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙡𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙡 2026! ⚡

We proudly celebrate the success of 13 new Registered Electrical Engineers, recording a 56.52% overall passing rate in this year's examination. Out of 23 total examinees, 12 out of 18 first-time takers passed (66.67%), while 1 out of 5 repeaters passed (20.00%).This milestone reflects the dedication, perseverance, and countless hours of preparation that you have invested to reach this remarkable achievement.

May this accomplishment serve as an inspiration to future engineers and a reminder that determination and hard work truly lead to success.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | As a means to encourage stronger student participation and to foster student leadership, the SSU Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has announced the afternoon classes to be cancelled today, February 26, from 1 to 5 pm, to ensure full attendance and participation of all students of the main campus for the Grand Rally of the SSU University Student Council Elections AY 2025-2026, duly signed and approved by the Office of the President.

Meanwhile, all colleges are required to monitor the attendance of their respective students in the said event.
