“Empowering the Youth, Inspiring Volunteerism, and Building a Culture of Service.” ❤️

The Red Cross Youth – Samar State University Council successfully conducted the Youth Volunteer Orientation Course (YVOC) on October 9, 2026, at Samar State University COED Room 314, 3rd Floor.

The activity aimed to introduce and strengthen the participants’ understanding of the Red Cross Youth, its mission, and the Seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Through meaningful discussions, interactive activities, and shared experiences, the participants were encouraged to embrace the values of compassion, teamwork, leadership, and humanitarian service.

YVOC is more than just an orientation; it is the beginning of a meaningful journey toward becoming responsible, committed, and service-driven volunteers. May this experience inspire every participant to turn their willingness to help into meaningful action and become a source of hope in their community. 🫶🏻

Together, let us serve with compassion, lead with purpose, and make every act of kindness count! ❤️🤍

🧠💚 WALK FOR MENTAL HEALTH. WALK FOR HOPE. WALK FOR EACH OTHER.

Every step we take is a reminder that mental health matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and no one should have to face their struggles alone. 🌱

Today, we walk not just as individuals, but as a community—breaking the stigma, spreading awareness, and creating a space where asking for help is seen as strength, not weakness. 🤝

Let’s keep the conversation going. Let’s listen without judgment, support without hesitation, and remind one another:

“You are not alone. Your feelings are valid. Your life matters.” 💚
