CONGRATULATIONS to our Carolinian Electrical and Electronics Engineering students!

The University of San Carlos, through the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, won the top award at IDEATHON 2025 organized by the Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CEISSAFP) on November 13, 2025.

The award recognizes the USC ECE team’s project, EnviroMimic, an AI-assisted environmental remodulation concept designed to enable secure and covert tactical communication.

The project was developed by BSECE-4 students Irvin Angelo T. Ceniza, Anthony Arbe M. Cinco, Kenn Loyd Y. Pepito, and Ciara Adrianne B. Tiongzon, under the guidance of faculty adviser Engr. Alberto S. Bañacia.

This AI-driven innovation reinforces the University of San Carlos’ commitment to advancing research and developing engineering solutions that address emerging technological and national needs.
