Dr. Suazo successfully presented his paper, “Kapwa, Loob, and Damayan: Filipino Indigenous Values as Theoretical Challenge and Practical Resource for Social Change,” during the panel “Indigenous Values in a Globalised World” (Chaired by Prof. Bekele Gutema) at The Institute of Global Value Inquiry’s Second Annual Conference on “Indigenous Values and Social Change,” held in Wa, Ghana, on September 7th–9th, 2026.

Today on August 11, the Department of Philosophy held a warm welcome for the undergraduate freshmen with their freshman orientation at B101.

The orientation was supervised by Dr. Ranie B. Villaver, Phd and with the help of the SOPHIA Officers, the orientation aimed to enlighten the freshmen on what to expect for the exciting school year.
