Exploring the future of technology through innovation, collaboration, and learning at the PSITE-7 Student ICT Congress 2026

Held at the UC/Cebu Coliseum With 50 CCS students proudly representing our department, the congress provided valuable insights into Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Cloud Technology, and other emerging innovations shaping the future of the ICT industry. Together with students from various schools across the region, the event became a meaningful platform for knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and professional growth.

Good food, great conversations, and even better company!

The CCS Cookout held last June 1, 2026 brought together students, faculty, and staff for an afternoon filled with laughter, stories, and memorable moments. As another academic year drew closer to its end, the gathering became a wonderful opportunity to unwind, reconnect, and celebrate the friendships and experiences that made the year meaningful.

From sharing meals to catching up with one another, the cookout reminded us that beyond classrooms and deadlines, the CCS community is built on camaraderie, support, and lasting connections.

In line with Proclamation No. 1239, s. 2026, Malacañang has declared May 6–8, 2026 as special (non-working) days in the Cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu, as well as the Municipality of Cordova, in preparation for the 48th ASEAN Summit.

This measure aims to ensure the safety of delegates, manage traffic flow, and support the successful hosting of this significant international event.

We encourage all students to stay informed, plan ahead, and use this time responsibly. Further academic-related announcements will be communicated by the administration.

In response to the rising cost of fuel and utilities, and in support of energy conservation efforts, the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) will implement 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗻-𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, until further notice. Resumption to original class and work schedules will be announced as necessary.

𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀
⁣　• Monday to Thursday, all classes will be conducted on-site. All classes during Friday will be conducted online.⁣
　• Laboratory classes during Friday and Saturday will be conducted on-site as scheduled. ⁣
　• NSTP and scheduled student activities during Friday and Saturday will be conducted online. ⁣
　• Major Examinations, RLE, Practicum, OJT will be conducted on-site as scheduled.⁣
　• Graduate School will adopt its original class schedule.⁣
　• School of Law will issue a separate memorandum regarding its class schedule.

𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗻-𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲
⁣　• All office employees will report on-site from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Friday will be work from home.⁣
　• Essential offices will adopt the following work schedules:⁣
⁣　　Registrar, Student Affairs Services, Guidance, Testing, and Career Services, HRMD, Finance, and Basic Education offices will remain open from Monday to Friday. The University Library will remain open from Monday to Sunday. In all of these offices, employees will work on-site four days per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one day off on a rotational basis. During their off day, they will be on work-from-home arrangement.⁣⁣
　• Vice President for Academic Affairs, Vice President for Support Services and External Affairs, Vice President for Administration, and Special Assistant to the President shall report Monday to Friday. ⁣
　• All Deans, Principals, Program Heads, and Department/Unit Heads shall be on-call on Fridays, as needed.⁣
　• All maintenance employees (Janitorial and Facilities Management) will coordinate with their respective heads on their work schedule with a reduced number of personnel from Friday to Sunday.⁣
　
𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀
⁣　• Air conditioning (AC) units must be set at 24°C.⁣
　• AC units must be turned on 15 minutes before classes/work and turned off 30 minutes before closing time.⁣
　• Doors and windows must remain closed while AC units are in use.⁣
　• Lights and equipment must be turned off when not in use.⁣

Mystery, elegance, and celebration filled the night as the CCS community gathered for a magical Masquerade Party. With stunning masks, stylish outfits, and unforgettable moments, the evening was a perfect way to connect, celebrate, and enjoy the spirit of CCS Days 2026 together.

🏆 CCS Days 2026 – Day 3: Game On! 🏀🎮

Day 3 of CCS Days 2026 brought the excitement to a whole new level as teams competed with energy, strategy, and teamwork across various sports and esports events. Students proudly represented their groups as they battled it out in:

• Basketball
• Volleyball
• Badminton
• Mobile Legends (Esports)

From intense rallies on the court to clutch plays in the esports arena, every match showcased determination, sportsmanship, and the true spirit of competition within the CCS community.

The day concluded with the Awarding Ceremony, celebrating the teams who stood out throughout all the games and activities of CCS Days 2026.

🌟 CCS Days 2026 – Day 2:Beyond the Code 🌟

Day 2 turned up the heat with skills, creativity, and pure fun! In the morning, our students battled it out in the ICT Skills Competition, showing off their talents in:

- ICT Quiz Bowl
- Web Design
- Programming
- Digital Posters & Infographics
- Arts & Animation

The afternoon brought the Amazing Race, where brains met brawn as participants raced through exciting challenges to claim victory!

From coding and designing to racing and strategizing, Day 2 proved that innovation isn’t just about ideas—it’s about action!
