The University of Southern Philippines Foundation reminds students interested in becoming a 2027 DOST-Science Education Institute S&T Undergraduate Scholar that the deadline for online applications is on September 17, 2026.

Qualified applicants must be:
⁣　　• Grade 12 students graduating in SY 2026–2027 who belong to the STEM strand or are among the top 5% of their non-STEM graduating class, or⁣
　　• Previous Grade 12 graduates who have not yet enrolled in college and meet the same STEM/non-STEM requirements.

Did you know that the “Grand Old Man of Cebu” is also the first Doctor of Laws honoris causa conferee of the University of Southern Philippines Foundation?

USPF joins the Filipino nation in celebrating the 148th birth anniversary of former Philippine President and former Cebu Governor Sergio S. Osmeña Sr., one of the greatest Filipino nationalists.

USPF founder Don Agustin M. Jereza is joined by Pres. Sergio Osmeña, Sr., his wife Doña Esperanza Limjap-Osmeña, and Sergio Osmeña, Jr. in this photograph taken during the conferment ceremonies in August 1952, held on the occasion of the University’s silver jubilee.

The University of Southern Philippines Foundation reminds all qualified applicants for the Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (CoSho) that the application deadline for the 1st Semester of AY 2026-2027 is extended until September 30, 2026.

This program is intended for coconut farmers and/or their dependents duly registered in the National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS).
