To everyone who made Cebu Bon Odori 2026 possible,

On behalf of the Japanese Association of Cebu and the Cebu Bon Odori 2026 Executive Committee, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you.

Over the course of two incredible days, approximately 25,000 people gathered together to celebrate Japanese and Filipino culture, friendship, music, dance, food, and community.

This event could never have been realized through the efforts of the organizers alone.

We would like to sincerely thank all sponsors, performers, vendors, volunteers, staff members, partner organizations, security teams, media partners, and every single visitor who joined us this year.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the Consulate-General of Japan in Cebu for its official support of the event.

In addition, we are deeply grateful to the City Government of Mandaue, Hon. Mayor Thadeo “Jonkie” Ouano, the City Council, police, fire department, emergency response teams, and all government offices and personnel who provided their support and cooperation for the successful and safe implementation of the event.

To all the visitors who came with smiles, energy, respect, and appreciation for Japanese culture — thank you for making the atmosphere of Cebu Bon Odori 2026 truly special.

Seeing the happiness and excitement shared by so many people reminded us once again why this event is so meaningful.

“Leave the place cleaner than you found it.”

This is one of the values deeply rooted in Japanese culture, and it is a spirit that was also shared throughout Cebu Bon Odori 2026.

Thanks to the good manners and cooperation of our visitors, the dedication of the volunteers who helped with waste segregation, and especially the incredible support of GUUN, the festival grounds were kept clean and organized throughout the event.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the team from QQ English, who spent the entire day today helping clean the venue even after the festival had ended.

And finally, sincere thanks to S&R Membership Shopping for providing this wonderful venue for Cebu Bon Odori 2026.

Cebu Bon Odori is not only about music, food, and performances.
It is also about respect, community, cooperation, and sharing culture together.

Yesterday was a huge success, and we are truly grateful to everyone who joined Cebu Bon Odori 2026.

However, after the event, a large amount of trash was left around the venue, and many unsegregated waste bags were brought to the Eco Stations.

Cebu Bon Odori is not only a festival. It is also an opportunity to share Japanese culture, including the importance of cleanliness, discipline, and proper waste segregation.

We kindly ask everyone:
Please do not leave trash around the venue, and please cooperate with proper waste segregation at the Eco Stations.

Our volunteers worked very hard late into the night to clean the venue and keep the festival grounds beautiful for everyone returning today.

Let us all work together to make Cebu Bon Odori 2026 enjoyable, respectful, and environmentally responsible for everyone.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the venue today.

Day 1 of Cebu Bon Odori 2026 has successfully come to an end.

Did you enjoy tonight’s fireworks finale?

But here’s a secret…
The fireworks on Day 2 will be even bigger and more spectacular.

And tomorrow, the excitement continues with the grand raffle draw featuring amazing prizes.

Even if you already joined the raffle on Day 1, you can register again on Day 2 — which means your chances of winning become twice as high.

Please remember:
If your name is called during the raffle, you must immediately come to the stage to claim your prize. Otherwise, you may lose the opportunity to receive it.

Make sure you are at the venue around 4:50 PM and 8:00 PM so you do not miss your chance.

And of course, tomorrow’s stage lineup will be incredible.

FUYU, SkyGarden, WORLD ORDER, Sasaki Rikako, Wannabes, and Wako Daiko will all be back for another unforgettable night.
