It's that time of the year again, when the gates are opened and spirits roam the Earth. With it, comes some superstitions for the believers, and warnings for the non-believers… spooooooky. Nothing as scary as me never hearing from her again, BUT these superstitions should be just as scary for you Business majors ooooOOOoooOOoOOhhhh.
In ghost month lore, opening new businesses is believed to bring bad luck when the gates of the underworld are open. This means your business is opened under heavy, negative energy and might face unexplainable drawbacks despite a solid business plan.
You might bring unwanted “invisible partners” when you sign major contracts like high-value deals, attracting spirits to claim a stake in your venture. It's like dealing with a phantom partner who sabotages your operations from behind the scenes.
Major assets you buy during the 7th lunar month may have spirits attached to the property. Cars, real estate, or machinery might look good on the balance sheet, but can end up becoming a cursed liability plagued by maintenance and breakdowns. So avoid making any big purchases or else…
Don't move to a new office or renovate, disturbing the space like drilling or taking down walls are believed to anger spirits lingering in the space. Disrupting the office invites chaotic energy that can lead to horrors like accidents, high employee turnover, and a toxic working environment.
