Adjourned Sine Die: SAO–SCG Concludes Academic Year 2025–2026
The SAO – Student Core Group successfully held its 2nd Annual General Assembly and Training Workshop on May 22, 2026, at the Junior High School AVR, bringing together its members for a day of learning, reflection, recognition, and celebration.
The full-day activity opened with a series of training workshops designed to strengthen the competencies of the SAO-SCG student leaders. Ms. Ma. Charla V. Treasury, Team Leader and Hotelier at BAI Hotel Cebu, facilitated a session on Customer Frontline Services, emphasizing professionalism, effective communication, and the Mabuhay Hospitality. This was followed by a lecture on Project Ex*****on and Management by Mr. Paulo S. Saberon, Executive Director of the Cebu City Youth Development Office, who shared practical insights on planning, implementing, and evaluating projects. Members actively participated in the discussions and workshop activities, gaining valuable knowledge and skills applicable to their future roles.
The assembly also took on a more meaningful tone as members paid tribute to the graduating members whose dedication and service have contributed significantly to the growth of the organization.
In its ceremonial session, the assembly formally acknowledged the accomplishments and milestones of SAO–SCG throughout the academic year while setting its sights on the opportunities and goals of the incoming term. As the organization adjourned sine die, it marked the close of another chapter defined by benevolent service.
More than an annual gathering, the General Assembly served as a celebration of shared successes and enduring friendships, reflecting SAO–SCG's continuing commitment to fostering camaraderie, inclusion, and a genuine spirit of volunteerism among its members.
