Clerkship is over. Those long days and longer nights in the wards, the exhaustion, the pressure, and the moments you questioned yourself are now behind you, and you got through all of them.

Now, after four years in medical school, you are almost there.

The OSCE is one of your final steps. It is not meant to see if you are good enough, but to reflect how far you have already come. You have come a long way through lectures you thought you could not finish, patients you slowly learned to care for, mistakes that taught you, and days you still showed up even when you were running on empty.

You do not need to be perfect in every station. You only need to be present. Think clearly, stay calm, and do what you have trained yourself over and over again to do.

At this point, it is not about becoming a doctor someday.

You are already becoming one.

The Basic Sciences Written Revalida will be held on May 11–12. This examination marks a critical milestone in the journey of incoming junior medical students through medical education, where the foundational sciences of medicine will be assessed in their entirety and depth.

Over these two days, candidates will undergo rigorous examinations across the following areas:
• ANATOMY–HISTOLOGY
• PATHOLOGY
• PHYSIOLOGY
• PHARMACOLOGY
• MICROBIOLOGY–PARASITOLOGY
• BIOCHEMISTRY

This is more than an assessment of knowledge. It is a measure of discipline, perseverance, and the intellectual foundation they have built throughout years of academic preparation. Every concept they have mastered, every difficulty they have overcome, and every moment of persistence has brought them to this point.

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐀 | 𝐀 𝐂𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

This project marks the culmination of the Community Surgery of Batch Gundaway, held on April 12, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the UNP College of Medicine Building. The initiative aimed to provide free circumcision services to children from San Vicente, Caoayan, and Vigan City.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all the tutors and doctors who demonstrated, assisted, and guided the medical students throughout the procedures. Through their expertise and support, a total of 153 children from the three municipalities were successfully circumcised.

Our deepest gratitude also goes to the CMED Office, our generous sponsors who provided meals and snacks, and most especially to the municipal health officers, barangay captains, and barangay health workers who played a vital role during the screening and overall conduct of the program.

More than a clinical milestone, Project BINATA stands as a testament to service, compassion, and the shared commitment to bring healthcare closer to the community.

The Future Physicians’ Circle proudly earns its second consecutive Seal of Good Governance (SOGG), receiving the Bronze distinction at the 9th APMC-SN National Convention held at De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Dasmariñas City, Cavite (April 9–11, 2026).

A recognition of excellence in leadership, transparency, and service, this milestone reflects FPC’s commitment to inclusive representation and impactful programs that uplift the medical student body. Made possible by the unwavering support of CMED students, this achievement stands as leadership driven by purpose and heart.

We proudly celebrate 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝐀. 𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐀, 𝐌𝐃, the first PLE topnotcher of the University of Northern Philippines College of Medicine since its establishment in 1996.

A true embodiment of academic excellence, Dr. Arma also achieved a Top 10 finish in the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) in 2022, marking a remarkable back-to-back display of distinction across licensure examinations.

This milestone comes alongside the success of our 𝟏𝟏𝟎 newly licensed physicians—a testament to dedication, perseverance, and excellence.
