: Roots & Reflection (Spirituality of Creation Month Photo Campaign) 📸

In celebration of Spirituality of Creation Month, Apayao State College invites the entire ASC community, students, faculty, and non-teaching staff, to connect faith, science, and nature through creative digital media.

How to Join:

1. Each participant takes original, high-resolution photographs featuring:

a. One native or cultivated plant or tree species.
b. One domestic, farm, or local wildlife animal.

2. Write a short caption (2–4 sentences) detailing the photo’s context (species, location within Apayao/campus) and a personal reflection on human stewardship over creation.

3. Post the photos publicly on Facebook or Instagram with the official hashtags:





4. Tag the official Apayao State College social media page and tag at least three peers to pass on the reflection challenge.

From September 26 to 30, 2026, the selection committee will evaluate submitted entries and award digital certificates alongside eco-prizes to the winners, which includes Best Reflection, Best Native Tree Feature, Best Animal or Wildlife Feature, and Most Engaging Post.

Let’s showcase Apayao’s rich biodiversity and show the world that we are committed stewards of creation!

LOOK | BSCrim, BSIT students crowned Mr. & Ms. ASC Conner ’26

Joseph B. Santos, Jr. of the Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) and Daisery D. Madagsen of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) were crowned Mr. & Ms. ASC Conner ’26 during the pageant night held at the EKB Multipurpose Gymnasium on August 19.

Jhon Paul Tacadena of BSCE and Maizy D. Arias of BSHTM were named 1st Runners-Up, while Mike L. Agtarap and Christine B. Bunay of BSCrim secured the 2nd Runner-Up titles.
