Admission Policies
FIRST YEAR STUDENTS
1. Applicants must a high school graduates of any DepEd recognized secondary schools.
2. Applicants must pass the Cotabato State University-College Admission Qualifying Examination (CSU-CAQE) administered by the CSU-Guidance and Testing Office (GTO) and obtain a stanine (standard nine) score of 4 or above.
3. Applicants with stanine score of 4 or above shall undergo evaluation of grades (Form 138) by the CTEd program chairpersons to determine if they are eligible to take any of the degree program offerings of the CTEd.
4. Applicants must have:
4.1. 85% or above general average in the report card
4.2. 83% grade or above in all subject areas for every grading period during senior high school
5. Applicants with stanine 4 or above shall be eligible to take the Qualifying Written Examination (QWE) given by the CTEd Committee on Admission (CTEd-CAR).
6. Applicants who passed the QWE shall be eligible to undergo the Qualifying Interview (QI) by CTEd-CAR. For BPEd applicants, they shall also undergo appreciate Physical Fitness Test and/or Performance-Based Skills Test.
7. Applicants who passed the grade requirements, QWE and QI shall be ranked by the CTEd Chairpersons. The ranking shall follow the CSU policies on the number of enrollees to be accepted and be based on the criteria for selection of applicants.
8. Applicants who qualified for registration/enrollment in any of the CTEd program offerings of their choice shall be announced and posted in the CTEd official online platforms and shall make confirmation to CTEd Chairpersons. Failure to notify the department within a week after the release of the final results will be subject for non-registration and will offer the slot to an applicant next in rank.
9. Qualified applicants shall submit the following documents (original shall be submitted to the registrar's office) and the photocopy shall be submitted to the CTEd Chairpersons during the enrollment period:
9.1. High school diploma (Photocopy Only)
9.2. PSA Birth Certificate (SECPA)
9.3. Form 138 (Report Card)
9.4. Certificate of Good Moral Character
9.5. 2 pieces 2x2 ID picture and 1 piece 1x1 ID picture with name tag and white background
9.6. 2 pieces Long Brown Kraft Envelope with complete name ( Last, Given, Middle Initial) and Degree program and major Field.
9.7. CSU-CAQE Result
10. If any of the applicable requirements is not met, applicants shall be disqualified from admission to any of the degree programs of the
SHIFTERS & TRANFEREES
1. Must have at least 2.25 general weighted average
2. Must have no grade below 2.25 in any of the subjects nor dropped subjects in all previous semesters
3. Must have no incomplete grade/s in all subjects. Incomplete (INC) grades must be completed first before applying for registration to any CTEd program offerings.
4. For transferees, they shall take the University Admission Qualifying Examination (UAQE) and shall obtain a stanine of 4.
