THIS STATEMENT IS TO ENLIGHTEN AND CORRECT THE CONFUSION CAUSED BY THE RECENTLY RELEASED PUBLICATION MATERIAL REGARDING THE STUDY ENTITLED, "FERMENTATION PROCESS OF TAPAI: ASSESSING ALCOHOL CONTENT LEVELS AND THEIR HALAL STATUSโ WHICH CLAIMED THAT 24 HRS FERMENTED TAPAI IS HARAM.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by the recently released public material regarding the study entitled, "Fermentation Process of Tapai: Assessing Alcohol Content Levels and their Halal Status", which claimed that 24 hours fermented tapai is haram. We acknowledge that the results of the 3 different time setups (12, 24, & 48 hours) of ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ฑ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ณ๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐น๐ฑ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป, which understandably led to misunderstanding among those who viewed and relied on it.
Based in the results, ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฝ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ถ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐ญ๐ฎ ๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐) ๐ถ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ considering the insignificant amount of alcohol which is not seen in the poster as it was explained on the booth in the universityโs event.
We take full accountability for this lapse. We recognize our duty to ensure that information we publish is accurate, complete, and responsibly communicated. We should have exercised greater care in reviewing the public material prior to release.
To address this, we are taking immediate corrective steps: (1) withdrawing or correcting the published material, and (2) strengthening our internal review process to prevent a similar error from happening again. We value the public's trust and appreciate everyone who raised the concern.
We respectfully ask for understanding as we correct the record and improve our processes moving forward.
We sincerely extend our apologies to the researcher, the thesis adviser, the CSU Biology Program, Cotabato State University, the community, and the general public.

Lubos kaming humihingi ng paumanhin sa kalituhang idinulot ng kamakailang inilabas na materyal pampubliko kaugnay ng pag-aaral na pinamagatang โFermentation Process of Tapai: Assessing Alcohol Content Levels and their Halal Status,โ na naglahad na ang tapai na prinoseso ng 24 oras ay haram. Aminado kami na ang tunay na resulta ng mga magkakaibang oras ng pagbuburo (12,24, & 48 hours) ng pag-aaral ay hindi naipakita nang wasto sa naturang materyal, na makatuwirang nagdulot ng hindi pagkakaunawaan sa mga nakabasa at umasa rito.
Batay sa resulta, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ด ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฏ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฟ๐ผ ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ถ (๐ญ๐ฎ ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐) ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ก๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐จ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ก dahil sa kaunting pagkakaroon ng alkohol na hindi ipinakita sa poster ngunit ipinaliwanag sa booth noong aktibidad ng unibersidad.
Buong pananagutan po naming tinatanggap ang pagkukulang na ito. Kinikilala namin ang aming tungkulin na tiyaking ang impormasyong aming inilalathala ay wasto, kumpleto, at responsable ang pagkakapahayag. Dapat sana ay nagpakita kami ng mas higit na pag-iingat sa pagrerepaso ng materyal bago ito inilabas sa publiko.
Upang maituwid ito, agad po kaming nagsasagawa ng mga hakbang: (1) pagbawi o pagwawasto ng inilathalang materyal, at (2) pagpapatibay ng aming panloob na proseso ng pagsusuri upang maiwasang maulit ang ganitong pagkakamali.
Pinahahalagahan po namin ang tiwala ng publiko at lubos na nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng nagbigay-pansin at nagpahayag ng kanilang mga alalahanin. Magalang po naming hinihiling ang inyong pag-unawa habang aming itinatama ang talaan at pinahuhusay ang aming mga proseso sa hinaharap.
Lubos po naming ipinapaabot ang aming paumanhin sa mananaliksik, sa tagapayo ng tesis, sa CSU Biology Program, sa Cotabato State University, sa komunidad, at sa pangkalahatang publiko.
